Does this give your face the cool/cold "menthol" feeling after washing? (sorry didn't have a better descriptor)

Not at all. There’s nothing in it that would emulate that menthol-y feeling. Just a thoroughly clean feeling.

Can this be used on hair? Has anyone tried that?

Yes!! I love it in my hair. Leaves it very clean and feeling fresh. Feels a bit dry afterwards because it gets rid of buildup very well but following up with conditioner does the job.
