Not what I’d hoped for
Was hoping for pure/raw heavy rock. Found it to be too soft in its style and production. Good musicianship, but didn’t like the over the top arrangements. Decent, but no more.

Great Album
Great sixties prog-rock album from a highly underated band. Their top ten hit from 1968/9 "Race With The Devil " is included .along with some bonus tracks. Also on here is the follow up single "Drives You Mad" which is not on the original vynl release. Adrian Gurvitz(Curtis) plays a good lead Guitar and provides some good soloing on this album. Certainly an album worthy to be part of any sixties collection.

Top Devil's Race by The Gun
Have this original LP and now also on cd with bonus tracks. It is a great 60's psycho album and it shows why they also supported Pink Floyd. Bought the cd for its bonus tracks for just € 6,99 brand new! Super happy with it!

guitar driven 60's album
The Gurvitz brothers, known as the Curtis brothers in England, only released 2 albums under the guise of GUN. This album, along with the second - GUNSIGHT, is a great album which unlike some 60's/70's albums doesn't sound dated. The opening track alone gives you an idea of what to expect. Brilliant riff and a great tune. This edition makes it all the more appealling with extra tracks and a gatefold case. If you're into sixties rock......look no further.
