Review: Four Stars - Great junior board, my 10yr old son loves to paddle out to the line-up Review: Safe, lightweight and inexpensive - Very happy with this and I've waited for my daughter to try it out before leaving a review. At £60 this isn't much more than a decent body board and is much better quality than the cheap polystyrene boards. It's very light and my 9 year old daughter can carry it all the way down the the sea (Saunton Sands Beach - the tide goes out a LONG way). At 6ft it fits INSIDE my campervan easily and being light and soft isn't a danger. The fins are also rubber. We purchased a Surfdome Shortboard Sock (under a tenner) to slide over it to keep the wetness and sand in check. I'll be honest, she has struggled to stand up on it, but that's because she has been using an adult learners 9ft foamie which has way more volume. However, this is going to teach her that she needs a bit more skill and balance to get up on this and I'm fine with that. The only down side is the leash needs upgrading really. I got a proper SOLA adult version for £16 (see other reviews). This will last her until we work out if she is really serious about wanting to learn.
