The net I have now isn't fine enough to stop them.** A: I bought this item for a screen door I build myself and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of buying,because it is strong and can withstand any weather. The one good thing about this this You can use staples on it and it does not affect the the fabric. **Q: What is it made of?** A: Its a plastic coated nylon mesh I made a wooden frame to fit the window and stretched mesh over works just fine in the restaurant kitchen. **Q: How long is it ? And if you need to order a certain length how do you do so?** A: put the quantity you need in the quantity box it will come as one continuous piece **Q: I'm not a handyman! What do you use to fix the mesh to the window frames.** A: I bought 'velcro white stick on self-adhesive tape' off Amazon and cut out small sections which I then stuck along a upvc window frame. I then cut out correspondending sections of velcro to stick on to the mesh itself (the mesh being cut to window size), (which eventually came off, but if you go to the trouble of sticking two pieces of velcro together with the mesh inbetween and staple them, they stay on the mesh giving you a really strong piece of velcrod mesh to stick to the velcro on the window frame. Mine are still up because I did this and have been up for approx 4 months if not more! We are very happy with it and it was a cheap way to solve a most annoying issue. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does the job *by P***C on 23 May 2024* The netting is good quality and is excellent at keeping even tiny insects outside. Midges can get through normal netting but this stops them. The black colour and fine mesh do restrict light entry and the view through the net appears blurred but these are not important issues to me. The strong construction means there is little danger of accidentally tearing it when fitting or in use. One issue of concern is that the netting was sent folded (to save on postage probably) which does leave creases in the net and these are very visible after fitting. It is doubtful that these creases will fade with time.
