Works well, Very happy.
We have used this three times now and have had very good results. Ribs, Steak and lamb. All have been full of flavor and tender. The lamb was for a curry, everyone commented on how tender the lamb was. It has a nice clear and easy to use display. The size of the cooking area is of a good size. No real cleaning required as the food is in sealed bags so only a quick wipe needed after use. All in all very happy with this product. If you are looking to try this type of cooking this is well worth a try.

Greatly enjoyed using in the kitchen
This is a splendid item in the kitchen for foodies. It is simple to use and appears to hold its temperature well. Cooks meat and fish to perfection as long as you see the water bath as part of the cooking process and not necessarily a straight to plate gadget. For example, meats and fish can require a very short sharp flash fry after coming out of the bath to add colour. I've also cooked fruit in it. Guests were extremely appreciative of slow water bathed pineapple which had an intense pineapple flavour.I use a basic Lidl vacuum packer with this, but users can often use zip lock bags and simply use water pressure to force out air from the item before sealing.Construction seems good although it is disarmingly basic for newbies like myself who have watched all the fuss about sous vide cooking on the telly.

It works well enough.
The temperature isn't 100% accurate from my experience tending to lean one degree either way but once you've calculated for that it is capable of cooking some really nice steaks (It is in fact the only way i will cook steaks now) .Some of the features of it are a bit dumb like for example when the timer runs out it will turn the machine off so be wary of that. I am however happy to report unlike some other reviewers I haven't noticed any rust forming or the coating peeling off of the machine, I have been using water out of the hot water tap as I am entirely too lazy to wait the 40 minutes it would take to heat otherwise. In summation if you think you might enjoy the benefits of sous vide but don't want to shell out the £100 + of the fancier immersion circulator machines without trying it first then I would recommend this unit.

Excellent product
I really like this product,it is easy to use, to date I have used it for sirloin steaks and gammon, the steaks I blazed in a hot pan to finish and the meat was very tender. The gammon was quite large and it was in the water for 7 hours again I applied a glaze and finished it in the oven, it was very soft and juicy. I am very pleased with the sous vide.

Poor quality
I am now on my second water bath since Xmas, within the first 8 weeks the inside started to flake and peel away. The manufacturer did replace with no quibbles very quickly. However we have now notice the second bath is showing signs of rust inside. It's a real shame as this product is a great price and so simple to use.

Looks a quality product
I can't rate the product more than 3 stars as it has been bought as a present for a relative and not opened yet! However, it received a "seal of approval" from a friend who is a professional chef, so I am confident it will actually rate more than 3 stars.

Starting out on Sous Vide. This is the unit to buy
Venturing into Sous Vide for the first time is a bit of an experiment. The cost of this unit us very reasonable and it works great. Beautiful steaks this weekend. I may in time migrate up to a unit that fits in a pan. But not till I am sure I will carry on using this method to warrant their very high price. About to start on Sous Vide? This is an excellent buy. I got my vacuum sealer from the same company. Another good purchase.

Five Stars all Day Long
Bought this in December 2016 and thought I'd try it out well before I posted a review. Just can't fault it for the price, it is an excellent addition to any kitchen. If I wanted to be picky I would say I don't like the way it switches itself off at the end of a timed cooking cycle which means food can cool and spoil after a period of time. Sous Vide cooking is not time dependent and food won't overcook if left in the water bath with the machine switched on for longer periods of time...
