However, the tables are soon turned when Santino puts out a hit on Wick, a bounty his fellow assassins all over the world are only too happy to collect. The cast also includes Ian McShane, John Leguizamo, Willem Dafoe and Laurence Fishburne. Good
*Contains minor spoilers.* It shouldn't come as too much of a shock for films about a vengeful hitman but an awful lot of people get killed here. Don't be fooled by the 15 certificate, the violence is pretty relentless at times. The choreography in both films is excellent an the action, as violent as it is, is really well done. The first film is a refreshingly straightforward story of revenge with interesting characters, which hints at a wider world but doesn't really explore it too much. The second turns everything up to 11 and things go a bit James Bond (well, James Bond directed by Quentin Tarantino). It's still good fun but over all I preferred the simplicity of the first one.

love love love it!
I already watched the 1st film but never technically owned it so I thought I might as well it get this along with the 2nd film and after finally watching it I can most definitely give it a double thumbs up and high recommendation if you are a fan of the 1st film.Chapter 2 kind of takes the action we know and love then amplifies it tenfold.I like that they didn't radically change the soundtrack and instead remixed or introduced similar sounding new songs to go along with the chaos.

Awesome
I won't add any spoilers here other than saying the John Wick movies are balls to the wall over the top action. What I will say though, the UHD versions of these movies are absolutely gorgeous, especially part 2 which was natively shot in 4k.The HDR and wider colour gamut add so much depth and clarity, it truly is a step up from normal blurays.

Like Neo on speed!
If you like Keanu Reeves who virtually reprises Neo here (The Matrix) but as John Wick, a kind of dark super hero. His wife dies and leaves him a little dog as a final gift. That and his muscle car (Mustang) are the only things that matter to him.The one day when filling up at a gas station a young Russian punk offers to buy his car.Wick rebuffs him and drives off but a few days the thug and his cohorts break in to Wick's house, beat the crap out of him and kill the dog.A really bad idea because Wick comes out of "retirement" and goes after them. The rest is just high speed car chases, many people trying to kill him and a lot more fun, all of it at the kind of pace made famous in The Matrix- but faster!Chapter 2 is roughly the same but a lot more chases, killings, and his extraordinary ability to get hit by cars and come back, again and again. In other words a load of high speed hokum, but for those who love that - a perfect way to pass a couple of hours or so. It has a few nice touches especially a strange hotel with some very strange guests, concierge and manager (Ian McShane)

Brilliant films
After watching both back to back, I basically spent the next 24 hours thinking I could kill anyone I looked at.I already had John Wick on Blu Ray, but decided that it would save space to have as a two-pack on the shelf. Watched back to back (as the second starts basically immediately after). Couldn't tell if the ending was hinting a third, but may have to save space again and buy the three-pack if so!!

Serious shooting - but don't look away.
The gold star fictional film is one which is barely believable but holds your attention with fast moving action and characters you get attached to. This series of films deserves more than one star, I have given it four, had it been believable it would have got five. Keanu does a magnificent job creating a character who you cannot help but support against some really evil villains; so good that you lay aside the fact that he is a paid assassin. The action is fast and furious with a body count that builds by the minute, the fight scenes are ferocious. It quickly becomes clear that Mr Reeve, et al, had to have gone through some hardball training to make it so realistic. No way is this one your kids can watch but definitely one for a Dad's night in with some pals. I will certainly be buying film number three.

Value boxset, First movie is superior
A good value boxset, but Chapter2 seems a bit thin on plot, as with many sequels the first movie was better and the second feels as though it is more about the money

Terrible Films
I do not know how these films are so popular but they are terrible. Unnecessary violence, no plot, terrible acting and it feels like the only reason for them is to show off everyone's skills and camera work. I did not even keep them. Do not waste your money, I would not recommend.
