BX5 Single 5" Studio Monitor Speaker for Music Production and Mixing with Acoustic Space Control, 2 Way Active Speaker

An amazing sounding accurate sound scape, with a wide range and suitable low frequency reach for general referencing as a bedroom studio. They have a very nice smooth aesthetic, but also discreet enough to blend into my setup. The tweeters being pushed back in slightly is a welcome change to its previous model, for protection. Having to replace an aged set of BX5 D2, in comparison these have a slight edge of clarity to them, and a small power boost to boot, however this comes with the unfortunate increase in its noise floor. I use them as near field, however would be better suited as mid field, which would counter the noticeable noise floor when powered on and idle.

Straightforward to install. Good solid weight to them. I have played a large number of different songs through them and they have not disappointed. Through the acoustic adjustments, you can make the sound sharp or warm easily. Running them through a Behringer mixer and easily the best setup for DJing or home / Gaming applications. 10 out of 10. Good value and not too intrusive in size.

Received mine today, it’s not as big as it is in picture but the sound is okay, crystal clear and Enjoyable. I love it, if you have money then buy 2 for more compact sound but I got one and it’s doing just fine. I use it to Dj in my room. after using for 3months, the speaker gets hot when you turn up the volume above 12:00

Love these cute speakers in my studio. They are quite heavy but worth the money spent. Remember to buy two separate speakers unlike me when buying i thought two came in one box😊

Great just what I wanted. The sound is supposed to be poor as they are for monitoring sound and not good for music listening for relaxing as they are harsh so the accentuate the region around 1KHz-5KHz so you can hear most of the information which is projected forward in the listening area. Fairly poor off axis sound but as near feild monitors that is what you would expect as you are supposed to sit next to the speakers. There is an LED to set up the listening position. The LED needs to be shining brightest on your ears. The Low frequency driver is fine and a roll off filter helps if you can only place the speakers against a wall. The rear firing port really performs best away from a wall. The idea of this type of speaker is not fidelity but to allow you to hear your mix. If you want to listen to already recorded and mixed music these are not for you. If you want to mix sounds using a computer then these you might like. If they produce 100 Watts at the speakers I would say the speakers are very inefficient as compared to my main monitors they are quiet but saying that when using this type of speaker you sit very close to them and they are plenty loud enough , just don't expect to do a Stadium Gig with them. I am happy with them.

bought these on the recommendation of a friend after getting so confused with the selection of speakers. These speakers are quality, the sound is very good....buy these you will not be disappointed, although a little after thought.....if you have the space, I can only imagine how good the next size up is.....BX8....

Soy ingeniero y he comprado muchos monitores a lo largo de los años. Compré estos monitores porque estaban baratos para una estación para editar video. No esperaba mucho por el precio pero me sorprendieron por la calidad y la potencia. Obvio con un woofer de 5 pulgadas no se pueden esperar muchos graves pero aún así es mejor de lo que esperaba. Sí los recomiendo para alguien que está empezando o para un home studio de producción (no de mezcla o mastering).
