Having used the original sleep mask I wanted to try the bamboo version. As I suffer with mild insomnia I like using an eye mask to shut my brain off better at night time.This mask completely blocks out all light once you've positioned it properly. If you find that a bit is coming through at the bridge of your nose all you have to do is squeeze it into a more fitted position and you're left in total darkness.The bamboo version is a softer material than the original, so whilst the rim of the eye mask appears to be the same thickness it's just feels fluffier - that's the best way I can describe it.The rim around the eyes means the mask isn't actually touching your eyeballs which is great if you have lash extensions! You can open your eyes comfortably whilst still being in complete darkness. Which is great for people who wake up frequently during the night and any brain stimulus makes it difficult to fall back to sleep with ease.The strap is adjustable; I have quite a small head (I can wear kids hats quite comfortably) so I wear it on the tightest setting but once fastened it doesn't slide down my face or off my head like other masks have with elastic bands.Similarly to the original you get the eye mask and a bag which is great for travelling and keeping it clean which I am very anal about. I hate the idea of putting something even slightly dirty on my face after having washed it at night. Which leads to my next point which is that it handwashed very well. I'm not sure whether you could machine wash it but if not it's very quick and easy to wash and dry because of the material. It also comes with ear plugs that I can't comment on as I prefer white noise as I sleep. But from just trying them for the hell of it they feel nice enough.Overall I would recommend either this or the original version, they both get the job done! In fact, my original has been stolen by my sister. So I'm glad I did get a second one!

Lovely and soft. The shape does not interfere with the eyes (i.e.: leaves enough of a gap so as not to press on the eyelids). The shape blocks out virtually all the light but lets in a tiny bit around the nose. This could be the shape of my face of course and it's so minute it's hardly noticeable. I've certainly been able to use them in my bedroom middle of the day with the curtains open in order to let the breeze in and it is virtually pitch black. At night, I've found I can drift off within five to ten minutes whereas before I'd been laying for an hour or more, so it's helped in that respect. The only minor issue with the product is the elastic straps are slowly stretching as is natural so there will come a time when I have to replace them based on where the velcro pieces are but considering what I paid for them, I really can't complain. They are very soft and comfortable. I don't use the earplugs at night but sometimes do during the day if I just want 10 minutes to myself to recharge and as is normal with this type of earplug, they block out a large amount of sound. Recommended.

Overall this is a lovely mask. It’s quite slim and comfortable; however, I gave it 4 stars as it doesn’t feel as comfortable as the previous mask I’ve tried from this brand. No matter what setting I have it on it seems to come off during the night. I think it’s probably a lot down to face shape. Their other mask has a much lager material area to cover your eyes. This one does act as a black out barrier well, and I love the red colour too. For the price you can’t really complain.

Strap is slightly annoying as sitting over the ears. Not possible to position just above ears as mask won’t stay on then. The strap is slightly bulky and irritating.The mask itself is really thin yet effective and comfortable.

I have had many eye masks that I've used once and given up on. It's the usual problem of too hot / too tight / can't blink / slips off / lets in light etc. So I had my usual doubts about this one...Just after one night of perfect sleep I know that I can never be without this wonderful product.It is lightweight and soft. There is room to blink. The adjustable strap is user friendly and it has not slipped off. I am unaware of wearing it.We have a double problem with a street light directly outside our house which is on all night (why do councils not invest in sensor lighting?), also, we have new neighbours with children and no curtains (yet) and leave a light on all night.Plus there is the usual rash of tiny lights all over our house caused by ever increasing gadget use.If you wish to experience the deep inky blackness that our ancestors enjoyed, then do give this a try.Thank you so very much.

‘Not elective for return’ how crap is that.... can’t even return a product I’m not happy with? The mask let’s too much light in coming from the underneath it is too small ...and I have a small face- when I adjust it to try and hide the light the strap is then on my ears plus the strap is thick and uncomfortable... not worth the money at all. I’ve been using a FREE airplane one Before this which is much more comfortable - I bough this one as in upgrade as I found the airplane one helping my sleep. But it was no upgrade at all... on fact it’s worse

After using our first eye mask from bedtime bliss, we were so impressed with the quality of it! After purchasing the organic bamboo one, we now have an eye mask each!I have been using the organic bamboo mask as I suffer with dry sensitive skin. The fabric feels so soft on my face and doesn't feel too restrictive on my head. The indents on the mask mean it doesn't crush your eyelashes - you can open your eyes whilst wearing the mask! The eye mask block's all the light out which is great for me as my husband wakes up early for work.I am looking forward to having this with me on our holiday abroad this year. We did a lot of travelling this year and I wish I would have known about these masks back then!
