It works great as a footrest and also provides much-needed storage. It’s sturdy enough that my 10-year-old can sit on it with no issues, and it holds all the things I didn’t have a spot for in the van (first aid kit, extra sweatshirt, hat, etc.).This has been a great solution for our Toyota Sienna, especially since the middle seat slides so far back.
