Had to send this back as although it sounded ok the wood looked cheap and shiny. I have bought this chime before (though not from Amazon) and it was gorgeous. A big difference.

This beautiful product surpassed all of my expectations! It arrived very quickly, was beautifully packaged in a nice gift box with a small pamphlet inside. This "hand chime" is about 7 inches long, or 17.8cm. The majority of the weight is in the metal bar, which gives a clear, resonant sound with a powerful harmonic quality. It comes with an attached wooden holder and a striker. It's a lovely piece, very solid, and can be hand held by most people or used on a table top. It comes assembled and can be used right out of the box.
