I quite like this little crochet kit, the hooks are smooth, with a variety of sizes which are engraved on so they don't rub off unlike some of the more expensive hooks you can buy.The kit has some other useful bits and bobs, including row counters should you need them, it saves jotting them down on bits of paper, stitch markers, darning needles, a pair of scissors which has a top for when they're not in use, and I was even quite impressed with the tape measure I know it's not the best but it does the job, and to top it off it comes in a case so you don't lose anything, which I tend to do 🙄 😂I'm very impressed and would recommend.

This is just the best little piece of kit ever. Whether you're a beginner, or a dab hand, this set is filled with goodies you will use, again and again... There are various inds of stitch markers, a hook/needle sizer, pins, tapestry needles, 'safety pins' for knitting, and loads more. The hooks are not top quality (how could they be at this price?) but totally acceptable! The sizes are accurate, and if you're used to a Bates then it's just the same, comfortable and no probs. The little pink case is sweet and keeps everything neatly in place. I have had full sets of all the sizes of hook but, after 40+ years, was missing a few sizes. This was purchased to fill in the gaps. It does that, and more.

Very useful set. I had been looking to get a case to hold my crochet hooks, and to get some more stitch markers and row counters. I seen this set and liked the contents that were included.The hooks are of good quality, they are lightweight and have a smooth finish, so no issues with catching on the wool/material that you are working with.The accessories are of mixed quality, but given the price paid, I did not think this was a problem.The stitch markers are quite stiff, but I've found this is often an issue until they have been used a few times.The counters are fully plastic, and although they can fit over the end of your hook, I prefer not to do this as it feels they are in the way. They don't have very smooth movement, which can be annoyingThe scissors were great, but after some time and use, part of the plastic broke - they still work, they are just no longer 'square'The case seems sturdy, and easily holds additional contents.All in all, I would recommend this, and am happy with my purchase.

I was using a plastic crochet hook that I got when I was 10 and it was really difficult to use, but these aluminium hooks are so good and make it so easy to crochet! They slide along my yarn perfectly and are nice to hold. The stuff that it comes with is really useful too, especially the row counters and the stitch holders. Really good price for an amazing product

Perfect as present and easy to use

I don't know why anyone is giving this anything less than a 4 or 5 star review. Yes the pouch isn't real leather and its pink. The hooks are all metal and lovely to hold and work with and a good variety. And loads of little extra accessories to help you create your projects. The snips are useless as the blades don't meet. So for 10 pound and paying pence per item I give this a 5 star rating. If you want to quality spend more money and get better quality. But these are perfectly fine and useable

These were bought as a gift for my wife. She is experienced in sewing but wanted to try crocheting.There are lots (and lots) of useful items in this set. Certainly enough to get started.Along with a book to guide her through the first steps these are the perfect items.Although my wife is a beginner I’m sure they would be suitable for more experienced crocheters too.Great price great quality
