SUBPAC S2 Tactile Bass System (2019 Edition)

I have been using mine for some time now. I am not a professional user just somone who like music and cant play loud music at home.Whats good about it:- It is just like puting your back against a high output speaker at a nightclub only more comfortable.- It is quiet (not silent see whats bad section)- Easy to install- Works out of the box. No silly downloading drivers or filling in registration forms.Whats bad about it:- Battery is a bit of a gimmic. Who is seriously going to use this on a train. It works. Not tested the battery life.- There is a noticable noise floor on bluetooth but its not a deal breaker (use cables where possible).- If you have headhones with a conductive case and plug them in directly it stings your ears.- You may need to use a virtual sound card on windows if you intend to use USB headphones and you dont want a dely between the subpac and the headphones. This is fine but does cause a bit of CPU overhead and might confuse people if they dont know virtual soundcards exist. I reccomend Voicemeeter Banana.- It is not silent. At full intensity your downstairs neighbour will hear it. If you dont have anyone living below you you will be fine.Overall: I cant comment if this is good for proffesional use but it great for listning to music. Works for all music but particuarly good for dubstep, metal and orchestral.

Was a little worried at first, as I was in contact with Subpac head of sales who was wondering where a Subpac for under £200 was from.... Anyways it’s definitely legit and a great bargain! Arrived a lot earlier than expected. Extremely happy with my purchase. Anyone into making music or just loves listening to music loudly or V.R gaming should look at getting one of these or the Subpac M2/M2X. Advice: when using wired headphones get yourself a mini portable headphone amp this keeps the headphones to a level that doesn’t make your ears bleed whilst having the intensity of the unit cranked up...

Fantastic! Just received it and Bluetooth worked straight away, comfortable to lean against which was a worry and the feeling is pretty amazing. It’s definitely not the same as being in a club as you only feel it through your back BUT it reveals bass so much better than just headphones which I’m surprised how much I was missing. Gonna be really interesting how much bette my mixes and going to sound from now on!

Just amazing, highly recomended for any music producer or any kind of sound engineer!!!!
