This was delivered as a birthday present. Came quickly, even before estimated and recipients were delighted. Great tasting.

This cake is moist not dry. Absolutely delicious melts in your mouth.

The cake tasted so good. I ordered the 7 inch size one. It was soft and moist. The frosting was not overly sweet at all. The crumble crust on the outside was also soft. It has nice thick defined layers to it. With the ice pack they added there was no reason to worry about it melting at all. For the size that we got was a great price and will definitely buy from again.

I have no clue why the big fuss about the David's brand of desserts...The cake was near dry, the frosting was not sweet and the cake was small and all this for the absurd sum of $35.00 !!!.... Total rip-off which compels me to give this cake only 1-Star ... and because of the disappoint I will never buy again this brand again ~ I recommend you don't either. Honestly, a cake from Walmart is better than this was. And to add to the disappointment, I had to buy a 'birthday' decorated cake just to get a chocolate cake even though it was not for a birthday. How dumb that you cannot purchase an undecorated chocolate cake !... the only positive I can say is that it was packaged well for shipping.

This was a gift. Good quality and delicious was the comment made to me. Freshness is important. I ordered two of these for two separate locations. One arrived fresh and was delicious. The other was held up by the ice storm and had to be thrown out as it had spoiled. When ordering make sure it gets to the destination within a two/three day period. Packing was not sufficient enough to keep it fresh for several days when hung up waiting for delivery.

The cake was delicious but was delivered smashed.

I gave this to my best friend for her birthday, as we are states apart, and she just wrote me and said give them five stars. She said the cake was moist, the frosting was delicious, and hands down the best cake she has ever had in her life and we are fifty birthdays in. Lol Thank you so much for helping me give my best friend a treat that usually is only afforded being in the same city would allow. Do not hesitate to order this cake for a loved one, or even yourself!
