If so how big? How will it arrive?** A: it grows into a small bush, ours was in a small pot of compost well packaged. They are dormant at this time of year so look a bit bare. should start growing in the spring and are supposed to be hardy. **Q: What is the best compost/soil to grow this in** A: You need to grow them in lime free soil ( ericaceous compost). **Q: How big is it? Can I pack into my luggage? I want to bring it overseas** A: Mine arrived a bit longer than a shoe box but half the width. **Q: Do you need fence if you plant them in the ground?** A: I think they will do better in a pot. They require ericacious compost. They are best watered with rain waterSo unless you have the right ph soil. I would only put them in a pot. Good luck my plants were only planted last Autumn so will see how they are this summer. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Young plant full of promise. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 13 April 2022* I ordered three different varieties of Blueberry plants from this company, Bluecrop, Patriot and Chandler. I have given five stars for the delivery and packing which was excellent. However, while Bluecrop and Patriot were strong healthy young plants, Chandler was obviously an older plant with a sparse central stem and a couple of rather bare side branches. These were accompanied by a number of broken young side shoots that would have developed and made Chandler a promising plant? The torn shoots were very dry exhibiting no sap, the developing leaves wilted and curled up, the damage obviouslyoccurred before packing! Now Bluecrop and Patriot are growing well both developing flowers, very pleasing. Chandler is struggling and disappointing, with a great deal of catching up to do, if it survives at all! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Arrived safely *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 29 March 2018* A nice enough looking plant- albeit naked of leaves when first delivered due to the season. It arrived well packed and had clearly been cared for prior to its arrival. Couldn’t comment as the the claims about its fruiting capability at the moment but a lot cheaper than a previous purchase as well as arriving well before the anticipated delivery I’m quite impressed currently. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Blooming marvellous *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 8 February 2021* I bought this blueberry plant just under a month ago and when it came I was actually shocked with what I received. It was small and just a few bare twigs no leaves. I'm growing other fruits and done some research into how to look after them especially just now with it being winter. Blueberry plants can survive harsh weather but I've kept my little guy indoors just now until probably the end of February he can venture outside! When I received it I kept it in the original pot for a few days then transferred it into this bigger pot as in the picture and with some crushed egg shells to keep the ph balanced for this type of plant. So far from how he arrived to now I'm impressed, think I may get some blueberries this year but not alot but I can't wait to see how it looks this time next year.
