Review: Glad I Discovered This 🌿 🦷 👌 - I first heard about this mouth rinse after following the advice (to some extent) of a well known dentist/Doctor Ellie on YouTube. I bought it mainly to neutralise food acids before brushing, to stop the erosion and thinning of my tooth enamel; particularly after menopause when I suffered the onset of sudden decay in several teeth! So far it seems to have done the trick because my teeth are finally looking whiter and stronger with new enamel growth and tooth decay has been halted. I consistently reorder and wouldn’t buy anything else for such effectiveness for oral health. After trying the mint flavoured one initially and experiencing some mouth burning, I decided I prefer this unflavoured version without the menthol burn. It does have a very slight medicated hint to it and is just as effective as the mint one AND it’s certainly not water, like one silly reviewer concluded. As for freshening breath? I’ve not experienced any typical ‘morning breath’ since using this twice a day and the freshness lasts for hours. My only complaint is it lacks a measuring cup in the lid and I had to borrow a cup from another mouthwash I use after brushing. (I find it best to use two mouth rinses for maximum tooth protection and oral health). In case you’re wondering what else I use, the mild mint flavour mouthwash from The Breath Co. also neutralises food acids and starves bad bacteria. It also refreshes without any burning sensation because it’s the only mouthwash I know that is actually PH balanced to your saliva! This too is very effective and I top it all with a super soft massaging brush from GuruNanda and Biomed natural toothpaste. My teeth and gums have never been so healthy and I’m grateful to have discovered these products in later life. 🦷 💫

Since doing so, and trying UltraDex, my gums have settled down, so maybe I was reacting to chlorhexidine? It's still unclear and after attempting to research which mouthwashes have chlorhexidine or not, I think the ambiguity in the guidance provided by a lot of these health product brands is CRIMINAL - regardless, UltraDex has been fine so far and leaves my mouth feeling clean and fresh - it's absolutely flavourless, which I like a lot... And there is no tingling/burning sensation that you get with a lot of these mint flavoured/chlorhexidine mouthwashes.

**Q: How long does this last for, if used twice a day?**

A: Of course!! For the same day on which you used it...and it also depends on what you mean by 'work'.  The clue is in the name!

**Q: Will this help clean the bottom of my tongue because I can feel (like there’s gunk there) , I’m always cleaning my teeth but still have bad breath**
A: Try a tonsil stone syringe (basically spray water around your tonsil cavities). The bad breath is probably caused by bits of old food trapped in the tonsils. 

You’ll also need a tongue scraper.

**Q: After how long after rinsing my mouth with this product in the morning can I start eating or drinking?**
A: I leave it for 30 minutes but if your using the toothpaste use the mouth wash befor you brush your teeth, then don't eat or drink for 30 minutes, I love this product it's great for your smile and its vegan friendly.Hope this helps x

Had to stop using chlorhexidine mouthwash, to see if I was having a bad reaction to it. Since doing so, and trying UltraDex, my gums have settled down, so maybe I was reacting to chlorhexidine? I had never heard of this stuff before but decided to give it a try after noticing it was the no.1 best seller above all the standard stuff you find in supermarkets. 100% Satisfied that this is in a different league to other mouthwashes on the market. I can't really offer anything extra over and above the same comments made in previous reviews. It absolutely works and if used twice a day will remove bad breath consistently. A few points to note: 1) This will not remove bad breath caused by eating garlic etc. These smells are not caused by bacteria or sulphur so your best best is dark chocolate or an apple (apparently). 2) I have only given the product 4 stars; this has nothing to do with the product itself but more the fact that a quick search on google will show you that you can pick this up significantly cheaper elsewhere. This product is one of those ones where you assume it's cheapest because it's Amazon but they are in fact selling at near double the common internet price. I am happy to pay a tiny bit more for my beloved next day delivery but I am sure there are a large number of people that care about the price they pay. 3) I love the fact that you can add your own mint flavouring to taste. It's the mouthwash equivalent of those old smiths crisps that came with a separate salt and shake pack. I can't comment on how well it "whitens" teeth but to be fair I have only bought this to keep my breath odour free so to be honest I don't care about any other benefit.
