Nippers remain sharp even after 5 years.

I bought these specifically for cutting cable ties close to the buckle so that the exposed ends won't cut me later.For this they are ideal - for anything else - get yourself some proper side cutters!They are spring loaded, very sharp and cut flush on one side only.For this purpose I highly recommend them - and they're good value too.

A potentially good product marred by some slapdash finishing.You can see from the photos that the final grinding is asymetrical, which you wouldn't find on a more expensive tool.Although the blades' flat edges seem parallel and close on each other ok the blades are of different lengths. The plastics handle covers are also of different lengths.The cutters work well and are good value for the low price......but, with a little care, they could have been so much better!

Ordered a second pair of these cutters after the previous ones were faulty. It turned out that the previous seller was not authorised to sell them so I suspect they might have been a cheaper alternative. Mtarashop could not have been more helpful, after contacting them, I re-ordered and they reimbursed me for both pairs even though the first ones were not their concern..... Well done to them.The cutters themselves are very well made, not just for the price but you would expect to pay a lot more for them elsewhere.My Grandson makes paracord bracelets and these are perfect for that, always a clean cut with no internal cords getting snagged. Used for cutting and trimming plastic cable ties, having a flat underside was the reason I bought them. Very sharp points, when closed, work in a pinch as a boxcutter. Blade alignment fine for my purposes. Good spring, just about light enough to not add strain to your work. Blade broke after approx 80,000 actions.

For the cheapest pair of snips I could find, I am pleasantly surprised. The snips don't quite meet perfectly, so if you are working with really thin, tough materials they might not work well, but for trimming component legs and such, these work just fine.

Does the job well. Not sure about durability but seem strong for modelling use. Pity no blade cover but easy enough to make one.

Good strong fine nose. Bought these to replace a very old pair of the same that eventually gave up. Brilliant for toe nails.
