Dickenson's DICKINSON029595 Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner, 16 oz/475 ml Volume

I've been using this toner for a few months now and it has definitely become my first choice for toners. Yes, it does have a VERY strong scent of witch hazel but that's perhaps to be expected given the ingredients! In any case, it isn't an unpleasant smell and it does quickly fade. I've often found with some toners in the past that they irritate my skin and leave it red and prone to breakouts. That's why I had been using Simple toner for years as it was one of the few toners which my skin seemed to tolerate. However, I was looking to see if I could find a new toner which might prove better value for money as Simple toner can be a bit more expensive than a lot of others. That's how I came to try this toner as, although it might seem expensive at first glance, the bottle is very large so it does work out cheaper in the long run. I've found I actually prefer this toner above others as not only does my skin tolerate it, it seems to love it! It becomes really soft after applying the toner and doesn't feel dried out at all. My skin also looks clearer but who knows whether that's down to the toner or the cleanser or the moisturiser! In any case, I'd highly recommend giving this toner a go.

This toner gets the job done..keeps my underarms fresh all day..i recommend..it doesn't dry the skin out and keeps odour at bay..I'm on the third bottle.

Haven’t been happy with my toner so tried this . The smell is strange but not overpowering . Did a good job for a fraction of the price. My partner gets lots of bits in his eyes due to his work and uses this to rinse out his eyes . Good product

I have bought it a couple of month ago.And I still have and using it. I think is good for me,however if you have a very dry skin it might not be the best for you,but myself found it good and refreshing.Is not oily or sticky,is great to prep your skim before assing your serums,moisturiser. The smell is bad, however with time you can get used to it to a point where you don't even notice ot anymore. One more thing you should be aware,As sometomes I have dry lips, try to close your lip sp doesn't touches the very dry lip as it stings.

The smell isn't so bad as what people say. I normally use it after I finish cleansing my skin, I would put some on a cotton pad and rub it on the skin and wait for it to dry and finish the rest of my beauty regime. I've been using this for a month before I decided to review it, although it does make me feel fresh and give me the "matte" feeling which is perfect for me as I've got oily skin I havnt noticed much of a difference, it doesn't dry out my spots or reduce any spots from showing up. I probably wont buy it again unfortunately

Great product and last ages! I usually use it to clean small area like space under my nails, ears, bum bum or if I need to dry a spot on a face to aplly a patch, trully great thing!

This is a superb quality Witch Hazel, none drying with a very neutral smell. It smells how Witch Hazel should smell, it's not horrible like some other reviews have stated. The price is reasonable too. It's really soothing on rashes, helps take puffy eyes down, good on bruises and is a great toner. I'll buy this one again.

I used to use toner blends that claim to have witch hazel in them, and decided to opt to use the real thing instead and I am not disappointed at all! It's kind on the skin, and it's consistency is not thick at all, so I can spray it easily with a sprayer. It has significantly reduced my outbreaks, and because of the hot weather and humidity here, my pores tend to be prone to infection. In my experience, this toner did wonders for my face, and I don't think I can substitute it with anything else now that I've seen just how good it is

Not too sure what is different about this and Thayers. I was using Thayers and using Dickinson's for a few weeks now. Developed red patchiness which went away when i switched to another toner. Probably not suitable for all skin types.
