For example if you go for a hike Many thanks **Q: Why is this suddenly so expensive? The price given on Drgaons Den on 24.7.16 was £12.99.** A: As I already pay for Amazon Prime which I believe is supposed to already cover shipping I question the price being charged and will order from Sports Direct where I can pay a shipping charge or collect from the shop for £12.99. **Q: How much water does it hold?** A: less than half a litre. If you wanted to clean more than one pair of shoes you could always top it up from a bottle of water. **Q: Will this work as well on boots that are not cleaned straight away? (i.e.) Kid's boots are in their school bags before being cleaned in the evening?** A: Works better when mud is fresh however I have used it on my walking boots after bringing them back from a walk and washed them with my boot buddy the following day. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value *by A***P on 4 March 2026* Great product, very efficient and easy to use. After games or practice sessions, his boots are typically caked in mud and grass, making it a hassle to store them in the kit bag or the car. The Boot Buddy solves this problem with ease, removing all the mud and grass that wedges into the studs. One of its best features is the ability to fill it with water, making it easy to rinse off dirt right after a match. Adding a touch of dishwashing liquid helps to give the boots an extra clean. The fact that it’s non-electric and hand-operated makes it simple to use on the go, whether at the pitch or in the parking lot. This cleaner is quick, efficient, and easy to use on both wet and dry mud, saving us tons of time and mess. It’s also very versatile—I’ve used it for bike tyres and even my own walking boots! Highly recommend it to anyone with active family members; it’s a great gift for rugby players, dog walkers, or hikers alike. ## Frequently Bought Together - BootBuddy Shoe & Boot Cleaner Brush – Footwear Cleaning Kit for Hiking Boots, Golf Shoes, Football Boots, Running Shoes & Wellies – Cleans Mud, Dirt & Stains in Minutes – As Seen on Dragons’ Den - BootBuddy Shoe & Boot Cleaner Brush – Footwear Cleaning Kit for Running and Walking Shoes, Hiking Boots, Golf Shoes & Soccer Cleats – Cleans Mud, Dirt & Stains in Minutes, As Seen on Dragons’ Den - Pink Miracle Shoe Cleaner Kit with Bottle and Brush For Fabric Cleaner For Leather, Whites, Suede and Nubuck Sneakers --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/47913985-bootbuddy-shoe-and-boot-cleaner-brush-footwear-cleaning-kit-hiking](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/47913985-bootbuddy-shoe-and-boot-cleaner-brush-footwear-cleaning-kit-hiking) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-07*
