8.2 ft head not true
Unfortunately, my cat chewed through the cable on the original pump that came with my AutoAqua ATO. It worked fine for a few weeks until the cat incident.I had the tube running about 6 feet vertically, which admittedly is on the higher end, but well within the 8.2 ft head rating for this product. I swapped the old pump with this one and noticed this one is a smaller unit. The connections are the same size, just the unit itself is smaller. Anyway, it failed in under 24 hours and no longer works. The 6ft head seemed to be too much for this little unit, despite being rated for 8.2 ft in the description.Now I have to drop $80 on a new ATO to get the correct pump, and I wasted $25 on this inferior pump. In the Q&A section, the seller states this is the same model AutoAqua uses, which is clearly not true.
