The imitation lambs wool is used to wipe off the polish and gives a good shine to the surface
To be clear this set has 3 for applying polish and 3 for actually polishing. The imitation lambs wool is used to wipe off the polish and gives a good shine to the surface. The pain material ones are used to apply the polish. They certainly fit my 240mm diameter polisher well. They are held on by an elastic collar that fits over the head of the machine. These are far better quality than those supplied with my machine and will be getting more of these when they wear out.

Exactly what he wanted
Being a bit of a petrol head I love my cars and the latest acquisition being a new 4 x4 which we will hope to keep for quite some time.Polishing a big truck like this takes a lot of time and elbow grease. Having purchased an electric polisher I needed to get some pads for it. These came in 3 pairs the 1st being terry cotton pad to shine the polish and the 2nd a sheepskin woolen one to buff the shine to a perfect sheen.A very prompt service coming through delivery in two days packaged well I would recommend these for any petrol head who likes a good shine to there paintwork

Ok but not great!
I bought these for my polisher for the car. They were well packaged and arrived fairly quickly. They fit 240mm polisher easily and the fit is snug which is what you want. The lambs wool polishing bonnets are a good quality. I cannot say the same for the Terry bonnets. The Terry bonnets are a bit on the thin side and after a couple of uses disintegrate! I guess for the price of the product they are ok and you do get 3 of each. I think in the future I would just buy a better quality product and pay a bit more.

Unlikely to fit a 240mm pad.
Described as 240mm but that is stretching it a bit ( literally ). Whilst they might be persuaded onto a 240mm pad of almost no depth at all, they will not fit a 240mm pad of standard 40 - 50mm thickness such as the ( Halfords) one I use.I will be returning them.

Wax on, wax off!
Hadn't washed my van for weeks and old signs were showing through, on the paintwork, even after it was washed. Had an old polisher but the mops were worn out. Picked these up at a good price and wasn't too worried about the quality, as l thought it would be a one off job. Did the job well and I was suprised at the quality. Would buy these again but shouldn't need to, for a while, as they were in a pack of six. Three polish on, three polish off. Only used one of each and still plenty of life in them.

NOT Lambswool, some sort of artifical lambswool (i.e. manmade fibre)
The cotton ones are fine, but the description of the lambswool one is false. These are not lambswool, it's some sort of man-made fibre - so actually likely to damage/cause swirls/scratches in paintwork.

Good quality after the shedding has occurred
On first use the lambs wool bonnet sheds a fair bit of fluff but that’s to be expected, it soon clears up and both the lambs wool and terry cloth are durable and do a good job of polishing my car
