Percy & Reed Wonder Balm Hair Primer, Anti-Frizz Hair Primer

I've used this for a few years now. I have fine/thin hair that is recovering from colour damage. As a primer it's great to layer with other products. I use this alongside Bed Head - Small talk. You only need a tiny amount. Gives me shiny hair that blow drys beautifully. I won't be without it.

The product was ok but my hair didn't feel clean with product on it

I have very fine dry hair and have tried a number of products over the years. Luckily I came across this product in a cosmetics advent calendar and it is wonderful. It says to use it on wet or partly dried hair - I think it works better on wet hair. It blowdries wonderfully and the style stays in place a good while, even for a couple of days using a bristle brush. Great product.

Got this as one of my mum's xmas presents, as she's used it for years now & swears by it for her short, very fine hair to give it more 'oomph' as she says. It's not sticky, nor does it weigh down her fine hair & doesn't make it greasy. Removing a point as the box was so very damaged upon arrival, it was squashed into one of the cardboard 'book envelope' type packages, so thankfully as I knew mum's not bothered by the box & the product itself was not damaged i didn't bother trying to arrange an exchange so close to Xmas- but if it was a different time of year I would have as it really ruined the presentation of a luxury haircare product in my opinion & I was disappointed.

This is a product I now swear by. I wash my hair first - usually a double shampoo using an argan oil based one and then using a large brand name shampoo (who make hair bonding products). I then condition (my pref is to use two conditioners either together or separately with similar properties to my shampoos). I then towel dry and often apply a small amount of leave in conditioner here. Then, before drying, I apply some Percy & Reed Primer with a few oils of choice for heat protection, detangling properties etc. On blow-drying and styling I get a sleek protective finish whereby my otherwise dry hair is easier to manage and maintain between washes. I’ve noted that the primer is a key part to all of this. I highly recommend trying it especially if you have dry hair.

I purchased this product after seeing a TV presentation. My hair are coloured with highlights and are really dry. Even thought I use stay conditioners and serums my hair there are never smooth. After using it my hair wasn't frizzy and where smooth and shiny. It felt as if I has been to the hairdresser and even after 2 days my hair still look really good. And most importantly they do not look damaged. I recommend to give a try. I am actually surprised with the negative reviews but I guess not all products are suitable for everyone. This one defiantly works for my hair.

It did not live up to its Hype!!

Hallo, Ich kann nur WOW sagen! Dieser balm ist so super, wie ich es selten erlebt habe! Ich habe ihn zunächst als kleine 30ml Probe in der Amazon beauty Box gehabt und habe ihn dadurch auch kennengelernt. Ich Glätte meine haare sehr viel und mache mir zwischendurch auch mal locken. Nach dem stylen der Haare nehme ich eine etwa erdnussgroße Portion von dem balm und verreibe sie in den Händen, um sie dann im gesamten Haar und auf dem gesamten oberhaar einzuarbeiten. Die Konsistenz des Balms ist zunächst natürlich flüssig und etwas klebrig (wie gel halt), trocknet dann aber ganz schnell, wenn es im Haar eingearbeitet ist. Nachdem es eingearbeitet ist, Kämme ich meine Haare durch und Glätte sie noch einmal über. Die Haare haben nun einen tollen Glanz, sind super weich und duften ganz wunderbar! Wie nach dem Friseurbesuch :) Der Preis von fast 25€ ist natürlich sehr hoch, aber es hält dafür auch ewig und man kann es sehr sparsam verwenden, da man immer nur eine kleine Menge benötigt. Ich bin mit der 30ml Packung mehrere Monate hingekommen. Da mich das Ergebnis total überzeugt und man mit diesem balm, wie gesagt sehr lange hinkommt, habe ich mich dazu entschieden, mir diesen balm, auch zu diesem Preis erneut zu kaufen. Ich hoffe, ich konnte mit meiner Rezension weiterhelfen! :)

Ich hatte eine Probe dieses Hair Primers. Sonst wäre ich wahrscheinlich nie dazu gekommen. Und ich bin so dankbar, dieses Produkt gefunden zu haben. Da ich sehr feines und noch dazu wenig Haar habe, habe ich schon denkbar alles ausprobiert um wenigstens einigermaßen gestylt auszusehen. Es gibt zwar hier und da etwas, das etwas Abhilfe schafft, aber wenn ich als Basis den Hair Primer nutze, habe ich endlich das Gefühl, als hätte ich ein paar mehr Haare auf dem Kopf. Die Haare sind nicht mehr so kraftlos und platt, haben super Griffigkeit und ich kann danach meine gewohnten Stylingprodukte nutzen. Ich kaufe dieses Produkt auf jeden Fall so lange es dieses gibt immer wieder.

Habe ich schon zum 2. Mal bestellt. Ich bin begeistert.

Mir gefällt das Produkt gut, aber es ist sehr Preis intensiv. Leider ist es nochmals erheblich im Preis gestiegen. Das ist nicht mehr zu bezahlen, deshalb kann ich es zu diesem Preis leider nicht mehr kaufen. Tut mir leid.
