they were pipe fittings and they were made of brass?

It does the job but may need a good amount of ptfe tape to seal
They look great and did the job required but I found the fit a bit loose and they required a good amount of ptfe tape to get a good seal! Luckily only one place they were needed as all the other connections used an o ring flange type seal ! I haven’t measured the thread outside and inside diameters either on these items or the male 1/8 inch gas threads that I fitted to these so can’t say which caused the sloppy fit!

After a month and a half it cracked. I have one more, but I have no intention to install it as it may crack as well.
