In summary (for skim readers)- long ties, it will tie around even a bigger belly easily- takes a couple of mins to microwave- holds temperature for a reasonable time, but not so long as a hot water bottle- they do tend to come unstitched where the straps meets the main wheat bag, but it’s a really quick stitch to fix it. (Perhaps I’m too rough with these!)- no simple way to wash, and no cover or suchThis is quite simply a lifesaver, and a pretty one at that.I have several back problems and am hypermobile, in short - so I rely on heat for my lower back. This is great for pretty much any joint pain in resting positions, but to be able to tie it around my waist and continue with my day is the only thing restoring my ability to walk some days.This is the second of its type I have purchased, and it is almost identical to my first. Subtle differences make this so far my favourite - firstly, the attached ties (which are more than ample in length, even for a slightly curvy girl), feel somewhat silkier than my first blue edition, and thus easier to tie.Secondly - it’s black, so fashion states it goes with anything.Essentially, my microwave is on reheating this every half an hour, but what a small price to pay for being able to walk!I can’t stick it in the washing machine, so I’m super careful where I put it down - tea stains on stars aren’t desirable.The stitching where the ties are attached can eventually work lose, and the first you’ll know of it is the sound of wheat hitting the ground, but it’s such a simple fix, you don’t even need to be adept with a needle and thread to sew such a small part up.Overall, this is money well spent, great quality, nice design. I’m elated with it!
