A LITTLE GEM !!
I was having a lot of trouble with my TV picture ,I have a 20 metre hdmi cable running from my sky hd box to a LCD TV.The picture was perfect apart from occasional "dips" where it would lose sound and the picture for a split second .After so called advice from the company where I bought the cable from I tried a better(more expensive) cable ,still the same .I was starting to think that my TV was the problem. Then I spotted this Neet booster ,I e mailed the seller before I bought it with a couple of questions and had an instant reply and was very impressed by the knowledge on the subject and helpfulness.I ordered the booster and paid for "standard" post but received it the next day. When I opened the package I was shocked to see how small it was (matchbox size). With the easy instructions I had it working in seconds and the booster works a treat !! Perfect HD signal!! Im so glad I bought it and would recommend any one with similar problems to get one.also the service was outstanding and professional.I wish the firm ongoing success and once again thank you.

Resolved Drop Outs
Before buying this unit I had high quality 10m and 5m cables coupled together without issues running from an AV amp. I replaced my bluray player for a better model and then had periodic drop outs until everything had 'warmed up'! It seemed that despite the signal taking the same path through the same equipment the new source was somehow sending more data (than the cable could handle) or a different signal. I was highly skeptical that this unit would deal with the issues but gave it a try! Simply, it worked. I now only have very occasional drop outs perhaps when shifting between complex menus or sound formats and as the unit is running off HDMI power I intend to give it a proper power source as already suggested. No doubt this will resolve the remaining niggles.Great quality, great value.

As much use as an ashtray on a motorcycle.
Pretty much useless. I have Panasonic PVR connected to a Yamaha AV amplifier via a 15m HDMI cable that runs under the floor to my cellar. This length of cable does not support 1080p, so I bought one of these to try to boost the signal sufficiently. It patently doesn't work. It's not possible even to get to the menu on the Panasonic at 1080p and I have to connect locally with a short cable to reduce to 1080i in order to use it.It doesn't make sense to boost an already weak signal just before the receiver, but I tried boosting the signal at the source end of the cable and that still doesn't work. An expensive mistake.

Neet and tidy booster
It didn't solve my problem of no picture on a long run of several HDMI cables joined together. I think because the EDID connection was not continuous with all the joins. This booster should be OK on long runs of just one or 2 cables .It is small, neet and unobtrusive and gets its power direct from the hdmi output socket.I solved my problem with a lot more expensive amplifier that also emulates the EDID signal.

Totally Amazing Little Box
My HDMI layout is very crazy. I Have got a 2x6 HDMI box with all my game consoles from Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, Wii, Xbox, PS2, Dreamcast. All running from HD. Setup in my bedroom. :-)I have set my layout so i have got a 30M HDMI cable going up into the attic where we have got all are network server stuff running.I have got a HDMI to Cat 6e ethernet box. With the Cat 6e cable going outside down to the lounge into a HDMI to YPBPR Converter.I did this so i can watch Sky and play games at the sometime with P&P on the TV.The problem i was having is.. I can only have up to 720p to 480p HD on all my consoles, what's a little problem, but not so bad.I was looking in my HD boxes that i keep spare parts and seen that i have had a HDMI Booster laying around. "This Model"After trying 2 more models that i have got. They did not work at all and only showed a black screen. But this little baby worked lovely and now i'm getting 1080p on the lounge TV with all my consoles. With out using any 5 Amp power plug too!!!I have never seen GTA5 look so good on are 55 inc TV before now that i can boost up the HDMI settings on all my consoles. lolIn my Bed room with my 2x6 HDMI box.. I have got a cable going into a 2 way HDMI splitter, one cable going to my TV and one going to my computer desk moniter so i can play games at my desk and work on my Mac.I'm very happy with this item and my HDMI layout.. Thank you Neet and Amazon.co.ukI did get this item from you.. Now remembering about it. Thank you :-)Sorry about any spelling errors.

Does what it says on the box
Very quick delivery quite impressed. So far as I can tell this little box works ok. My purchase was to try and eliminate noise/timing-loading mismatches between my PC's AMD graphics card and a Philips TV, unfortunately this did not fix the problem (even twiddling the switch compensation). For anyone suffering from the seemingly random inverse-blue/pink colour problems with either Philips or some older Sony Bravia tvs and AMD graphics cards, the problem is a timing mismatch between them (possibly due to a HDMI standards mismatch), but it can be fixed by changing the Pixel Format (in AMD Catalyst control centre) to sRGB or RGB.

This box made no discernible difference in the signal when used either with or without a power supply. The Power EQ setting, adjusted with a screwdriver also made no difference. I have to assume that this product works for some people or it would have no positive reviews, but in my case it hasn't helped at all.
