You need a tar cleaner for that. **Q: How much is enough for an 8 litre bucket of warm water? 2 caps like it says or less?** A: Yes, I advise using what it suggests. For me, providing the water is warm or hotter (hotter better), it soaps up very well and lathers nicely of the bodywork of my motor. It doesn't seem to take much elbow grease to remove dirt either, though that could be body surface dependent but it really is a great wash liquid. When you put it in the water you can either put it in first then fill the bucket with water after mixing the solution well or pour it in after the water and hand shake it up. **Q: Can you use on a motorbike?** A: Yes ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best car sheen I’ve seen in decades! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 4 May 2026* I especially bought this as I have a black car. Usually I’m skeptical since I’ve tried so many car cleaning products over the many decades.. but boy oh boy! This one was amazing!I don’t like posting photos but I have to say that even I am astonished by the shine on my car! Gosh! It’s like brand new! Wow!It rained today and when it dried off, my word! They weren’t lying when they said, “water beads off!”So definitely will be purchasing more of this.. In fact, that’s it. I’m sold! This is ridiculously the best product for my car. Not turning back!If you have a darker coloured car and are often worried about it being mucky —this is definitely the best clean. Go get it.. You won’t be disappointed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Best *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 1 September 2026* Tried them all. Put a little in a bucket of warm water. REMEMBER TO MIX WELL!! this stuff is amazing. Dry off after hosing. Shine amazing ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great summer shampoo. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 8 August 2026* Have to start with the smell on this one, its SO good. Proper nice to use, not one of those shampoos that just smells like generic soap.Foams up really well too, dont need loads of it either, a capful goes a long way which is always a bonus. Leaves the paint looking really glossy after aswell, no streaks or that dull finish you sometimes get.Only thing id say is this is more of a summer shampoo in my experience. When theres no salt or grit about its brilliant, but come winter I dont think it has enough bite to properly maintain a ceramic coating, so i tend to switch to something more professional during the tougher months. Not a knock on the product, just knowing what its good for.Great shampoo for the right conditions, just dont expect it to be a year round do it all. ## Frequently Bought Together - Meguiar's G17748EU Ultimate Car Wash & Wax 1.4L, Shampoo that leaves a deep, glossy, just-waxed shine - Meguiar's G180124EU Ultimate All Wheel Cleaner Iron Remover 709ml, Changes colour as it cleans! - Meguiar's G7516EU Endurance Long Lasting High Gloss Black Tire Gel 473 ml --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/47908374-meguiars-ultimate-wash-and-wax-for-car-washing-and-waxing](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/47908374-meguiars-ultimate-wash-and-wax-for-car-washing-and-waxing) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
