FPUK 5 metre 3.5mm Jack Headphone/Mic EXTENSION Cable Lead (5m, Black)

I had been agonising over which wireless headphones to buy to enable me to watch TV late at night without disturbing the house. IR cans just didn't have good enough reviews, and RF ones that had good reviews were very expensive. I settled for this very very cheap solution with perfect preservation of sound quality -simply plugging in my existing 3.5mm jack headphones. There is no interference at all. I have no need to move around whilst watching TV -I can't see the TV from another room- so a cable is no great hardship. I coil it up and pop it in a drawer when I'm done.This is such a ridiculously cost effective solution -perfect for my needs. This product seems quite OK in terms of connection -no problems whatsoever.Very happy with this product :-)AAUPDATE MARCH 2015Over three and a half years on and still working as well as it did when I first got it. In daily use for watching TV after my other half has retired. No connection issues. Has survived cat sabotage -but may die if it gets attacked again. I will then buy another!AA

Bought as part as a present to plug in the tv headphones socket while the other end plugged into the earphones. This extension cable was used in a bedroom, and the extension allowed me to run the cables around the edge of the wall to the bedside table. Works perfectly for this size room.Sound quality is great with no loss (elderly lady is not technically so basic technology like over the head earphones are perfect).

Does the job at a good price

The cable was great quality and sound worked well when listening through a headset. Unfortunately, I made a mistake thinking it was also suitable for use with a headset mic. Seller didn't hesitate to refund me when we realised and kindly explained which type of cable I needed. Thank you!

LOVE IT. I am against bluetooth headphones. At this time no one on Earth really knows if they cause brain cancer or brain damages. We have no enough knowledge over this matter. Next generations will be much more aware of their consequences and side effects than us, if any. Since I won't bet my life over a silly question as a cord, I still use corded headphones. Which in my opinion will always excel over bluetooth ones in every aspect. Styling, weight, audio power, balance and quality. Not to mention the hassle of a dead battery. If you can use them while running or in a gym, you can use them everywhere. So a 5m extension cord it's a must to watch movies at night times and be free to move around the room, and this does the job perfectly. I haven't found any audio quality loss even through such long cord. RECOMMENDED.

I needed an extension cable so I could listen to my headphones in bed with the audio coming from the PC across the room.The cable itself seems sturdy enough, although the 3.5mm connection seems a little loose when connected to the headphone jack on my PC.I've noticed a little degradation in sound quality through my Sony MDR-V55 headphones, the bass doesn't sound quite as tight and the treble doesn't sound quite as accurate.Overall, the lead is "just ok" and is a cheap option for anybody who needs freedom to move around. Just don't expect the same level of sound as you would get when plugged directly into the source. (The volume is also a little lower, but not by much)5/10
