Brilliant!
I had a smudge on my sensor and I stupidly tried to remove it with a microfiber cloth and blowing on it. Not only did I make the smudge worse but i also transferred (no exaggeration) about 100 specs of dust, no matter what I did I couldn't remove them. I used the lightroom - visualize spots on a plain white image and it looked like it was snowing.Ordered this kit which arrived next day and works even better than I imagined. It actually removed every single spec of dust off the sensor, it also removed the smudges and it looks brand new!Excellent piece of kit and worth every penny. If you have dusts or hairs, this combined with a blower is all you will ever need.5 Stars absolutely fantastic!

Absolutely fantastic, cleans grime and dust
I bought a a6400 off ebay and although it was brand new, it had a smudge and some dust on the sensor, as though someone had touched it with a finger. I was terrified it wouldnt come off, as it was quite prominent and looked greasy. However, these cleaned it PERFECTLY. Nothing was left on the sensor - no micro scratches, no dust, no grease. The pricing could be a bit better but it's worth it to clean your sensor at least once.I'd recommend watching some videos online on how to correctly clean a sensor with a cleaning kit like this - they're short and demonstrate how to do it correctly. On a side note, the box says to use one or two drops per brush - I found that to clean off the greasy mark I had to use 3-4 drops. But there's still plenty of liquid left - even though I spilled quite a bit (don't know how, probably just accidentally squeezed too hard). It dries very fast, within a matter of seconds. Each brush comes individually sealed to make sure there's no dirt on it. Great product.

They are easy to use
The swabs work well, once you actually receive them that is, mine took a week to arrive which was a bit on the slow side. They are easy to use, it took two of them to get my sensor properly clean, i.e. if you take a picture of a piece of white paper and using the camera rear screen, zoom into that image really close up, you will see sensor dust etc easily. Just keep taking an image after each sensor clean until you can no longer see any visible marks. One small point to bear in mind is that the cleaning liquid comes in a bottle with a sealed top, I thought that maybe you were meant to prise off the clip on top of the bottle (after unscrewing cap) but if you do that you are left with a rather large hole, which would drown the swab in cleaning liquid, so mystifyingly you have to pierce a hole in that section before you can actually get any liquid out. So, better do that carefully to keep the hole size small! At one point I had the camera on my lap with sensor exposed and the swab in one hand trying to get the cleaning liquid onto the swab, then had to leave all of that and find a small kitchen knife to get access to the cleaning fluid.

Does the job well.
I use these for cleaning the window on my astrophotography camera. Cleans well and leaves no residue on the window.

Makes a daunting task straightforward
I discovered that I had had dust on the sensor of my Sony a6000 camera and after a bit of research decided to try these. To establish the problem I took photos of my white kitchen wall at f/22 and there were several spots. The swabs arrived quickly and well packaged. 14 swabs and plenty of liquid. I used the first swab as a test on my mobile just to get the feel of it, then took the plunge. I was daunted but comfortable that I had worked out what to do and sometimes you just have to go for it.It was easy to drop a couple of drops of liquid on the swab then draw it across the sensor and then using the other side of the swab draw it back. I then took another photo of my white wall and most of the dust was gone. I then repeated a number of times, sometimes with liquid and sometimes dry and took a photo every time. Obviously you can only use each each swab once so you do go through a few. I ended up with a stubborn spot and it took a few goes but eventually I took a photo proving my sensor was as clean as I could get it and I couldn't see any spots at all.Given that my sensor was quite dirty it and it was my first ever try, it may not be that surprising that I used 12 of the 14 swabs but hardly any of the liquid. However, for at least half the price of a professional job and no hassle traveling or waiting, my sensor is perfectly clean.I am impressed how straightforward it was even for a first timer and now realise it is not a job to worry about in the future. One to be careful with and to take time over but not difficult. Pleased I tried and have ordered more swabs without the liquid for future cleaning.Recommended.

Was nervous to clean my D800 sensor but actually made it easy!
I was concerned like many people about cleaning their full frame DSLR sensor for the first time but the cost of camera shops to complete this and the infuriating dots having to be edited out on every photo forced me into it. The instructions are easy the wipes are really really good and do an amazing job. Take your time and use rubber gloves and a top tip I actually mildly steamed up the bathroom about half an hour before doing the clean which settled a lot of the airborne dust particles. Performed the clean on the toilet seat with a non slip rubber mat placed on the top of the seat cover which I rested the camera onto. I purchased an LED circular light lupe to get a good view of the sensor and that also worked great. Couldn’t be more happy with the results and now have enough swabs to keep the sensor clean for at least a year! Totally recommended. Just a quick note the swabs are supposed to be dragged across the length of the sensor and the width of the swabs is exactly 24mm to match the width of a full frame sensor so DONT try and use these on cropped APS or Nikon DX camera sensors.
