Great for medium and short length hair, no grease and medium hold with low shine.

Good quality stuff for thick hair, although I may need something a little bit stronger for the whole day as I have very thick and stubborn hair. it has quite a decent hold on it and smells alright. Great considering the price!

I bought this product along with grooming cream and fiber. So I could compare them. The look is spot on. Just enough shine without looking greasy. Couple of things I look for when buying hair products is how well it washes from hands and hair. This one seems to feel like grease in the hands when washing off. Also needed to wash hair couple of times to get it out. If you can cope with those downsides the look is spot on. This product doesn't give me my preferred look. I'd rather fiber as I like a matt look. I've reviewed fiber and grooming cream too.Ps. smell is like a shoe polish. Not nice but not unbearable

I have been using this product for years and found it to be the best. It is great value for money and has a nice thick texture.

Honestly very bad product. I’ve used all sort of clay and pomade from cheap to more expensive, and this is the worst by far. I have try another of their products (the black label one, can’t remember the name) that wasn’t good but still better than this.First let’s start with the hold, which is not to the medium hold it claims to be. It leaves the hairs pretty greasy and gross feeling. But you only realize how bad of a product it is when you try to wash it off, because it just does not! I keep using more and more shampoo and it still feels greasy. If it wasn’t for that I would have finished it but honestly it will go to the bin. Such a bad product, it’s unbelievable.

Greasy, low hold, heavy. I have medium hair which is quite thick, and which I comb back. I personally wouldn't recommend. Smells OK, bit like citrus.

I'm sad to say I'm disappointed with this. I'm a long time user of American Crew & this is simply not up to scratch. I usually use A.C. Forming Cream & Fiber & thought I would try this for a change. Wish I hadn't. It does provide nice shine but the hold is not much stronger than Forming Cream & it is a bit greasy too. To make matters worse it does not wash out easily - even using A.C. Power Cleanser Shampoo - like the other products do.I will never buy this again & cannot recommend it.

My favorite hair clay - light and easy to apply, does not look greasy and holds well for a natural dry look. A good product well priced.
