Weirdly a woman behind me in our supermarket queue recommended this when she overheard me talking about my upcoming holiday in Greece & as I was complaining about the mossies. She said she never holidays without it & has used it all over Europe..Then the cashier joined the conversation and also said she swore by SMIDGE - for the Scottish Highlands (where the midge is infamous)..SO - I bought it..Definitely did the job - only 7 bites this holiday - normally 20-30 even though I use various mossie things (including jungle formula spray & veet wipes).Smells fine and quite rich, so works as a moisturiser rather than using aftersun...

100% effective against all mosquitoes and midges. I absolutely highly recommend this product after using it every day in the Highlands of Scotland whilst overseeing the construction of windfarms in remote areas. Hats with face covering veils were used, alongside other insect repellents against the clouds of midges and mosquitoes without success. It was only when the local inhabitants recommended this product that we tried its effectiveness.The local villagers were not wrong! It surpasses anything we have tried before and is seemingly free from any adverse chemical that may affect the skin whilst easy to apply with a pleasant subtle fragrance once applied.I will admit, it works faultlessly for 8 hours but does need a second application after a full 8-9 hours of full protection

It works well. Not bitten by the insect at all. It is not greasy and smell is mild ( much better than the smell of usual insect repellent)

I was very sceptical because every summer and bitten by anything!! this is easy to apply you just shake the bottle. It’s like putting a moisturising cream on after a bath or a shower. It doesn’t sting or smell of the strong, it isn’t sticky and it lasts 7 1/2 to 8 hours for the first time in years. I’m not facing the summer with bites all over. I highly recommend this and I have put it on a subscription..

I hate using products containing deet, the smell is awful so I end up being bitten. Having been bitten literally everywhere and itching to blazer I bought Smidge. It's really pleasant to use and for the first time I've had 2 days with no more bites...bliss. I'm a happy gardener again!

After reading the reviews I had high expectations for this but sadly didn't match up we travelled to Mexico and were as urrounded by lots of woods and open greenery we were feasted upon putting it mildly so this stuff didn't do much to stop it .... It t was better than badger replenat but dissapointed to say the least to erhaos else were might be good but Mexico it's a NO
