My charge smoked at the soket and I was disappointed. Lavolta ordered and was very happy. Without a laptop, as without hands, I work every day. Pleased with the fast delivery, my break did not affect the income, it works perfectly. I'm happy.

Working perfectly out of the box. If it all goes horribly wrong at any point I'll come back and revise this. Very cheap compared to the Dell equivalent. Slightly bigger but still very small.

Product arrived a day before expected. Bought it for my 15.6" Dell Inspiron 15 5000 series (558) US bought laptop. Original power cable became twisted at ends and was no longer functioning. This Lavolta charger matched all the specifications of my original charger and it was a huge relief when upon plug-in, it worked. Good packaging, great product, happy with my purchase. Update 5 stars to 1 star Almost 10 months, its no longer working. It just blew. Never experienced this before and I have a deadline to hand in a project. Ahhh! Back to 4 star Working on return and replacement after communication with seller. Will update once processing is complete.

Works well to start, but doesn't last. I bought one last May. It worked perfectly for about 4-5 months., then simply stopped saying it was plugged in but not charging. The company sent me a replacement without question, but this has now done exactly the same. After another 4-5 months, this one has stopped working with exactly the same message. I will contact them again to try and get another replacement, but this is just totally unsatisfactory. Obviously one to be avoided.

It is bigger than the original one and it feels cheap in your hands. Also, it won't recharge the battery of my laptop, but only works on AC

When my original charger died shortly after the warranty was expired, I got a Lavolta one. It lasted 2 years and this is a replacement. I'm very pleased with it- it charges quickly and fully. Just as good if not better than the one which originally came with computer.

This was great to start with, but now it no longer charges the laptop. The green light on the power pack can be seen to flash green intermittently and fails to charge the laptop. Would not recommend this if you want a long lasting charger.
