Andersen Hitches Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection | 3220 | Ultimate Connection Gooseneck Connection | ONE Person Easy Install in Less Than 5 Minutes!

Bought this to hook up my Grand Design 31MB Reflection - 35ft, 12,500lbs. 5th wheel. Just came back from a 10,000 mile cross-country multiple locations trip. really like the Andersen Hitch. Had no problems with it. It's solidly built yet really light so it's easy to install and remove from the truck (one secure point). I'm a solo traveler so I appreciate anything that can be done by one person. Hitching up to the ball hitch is easy. the connection point is conical so one has about a 2-1/2 inch extra slop for lining up and dropping down onto the ball. For added security, I did get additional chains to connect to the rig. According to NTSHA certification it is not necessary, but it is a ball hitch connection after all. I do like that it is a ball hitch connection because it adds security from theft. Not too many thieves are rigged for a king pin that's got a ball hitch sleeve over it. I would not go back to the more costly king pin hitch.

Very easy to install. Instructions were very straight forward. The weight of the hitch is very light weight and easy to place in the bed. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a good reliable hitch. You can adjust the ball at the top of the hitch to give you the best ride and clearance possible.

Light weight and easy to install and remove. It’s hanging on the wall in my garage at the moment. I tried the ball insert from Anderson, but it doesn’t fit my factory installed hitch hole. I am using the kit that I got with my truck. Normal ball works fine. Seems very secure. I did add safety chains to the set up. Haven’t had the opportunity to tow much yet.

Had the old style hitch for many years but it took a tractor and front loader too remove it from the truck bed. The Anderson Hitch is light enough that even my wife can remove it if necessary. All that is needed is a gooseneck hitch in the truck bed and it easily slips over the ball and 3 bolts will fix it tightly in place. Would also recommend getting the Anderson rubber mat for underneath the hitch to seat it securely with no slipping. Great hitch
