However, this one is labelled 'premium'. What's the difference, please?** A: The Battleship Yamato has two kinds, "No.25" and "No.30".The labelled 'premium' is "No.25". "No.25" is a Flagship Model and the detailed structure which had not been reproduced until then was perfectly reproduced. Therefore the price was getting expensive. So "No.30" was renewed as a "plastic model of Battleship Yamato" which is affordable price."No.25" was launched in 04/12/2011."No.30" was launched in 30/03/2013. **Q: Does the premium version include the deck sheets, metal gun parts and deck railings?** A: hello.Tamiya yamato kit nr 78025 is a very nice kit but wooden deck detail, metal gun barrels and photoetched railings are not included but some transparent windows and photoetched parts and wire and stanchion railings are inciuded.best regards Arve **Q: does the model need to be glued together?** A: Yes it needs to be glued and to be painted among other things. This is not a die cast kit. If you are seeking for a die cast kit you may look at FORCES OF VALOR Kit No 86014, but in 1/700 scale. **Q: I'm in the process, but before goes wrong, do you know if decals are water decals?** A: Yes but use one of the Specialist decal applying liquidsCosting around 5 US dollars they soften the decal so it grips betterJoin my face book pagehttps://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=1%3A350%20tamiya%20premium%20yamato%20builds And add information on how yo are progressing ## Frequently Bought Together - Tamiya 78025 Japanese Battleship Yamato Model Kit - Tamiya, 1:350 WWII Yamato Wooden Deck Decoration, Modeling Accessories, 300012645 - Tamiya 300012643-1:350 Gun Barrel and Projectile Set, 46 cm, Model Making Accessories --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/47891930-tamiya-78025-japanese-navy-battleship-yamato-1-350-scale](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/47891930-tamiya-78025-japanese-navy-battleship-yamato-1-350-scale) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
