Galaxy S7 Edge 32 GB SIM-Free Smartphone - Black

Bought from Wowcamera. Very impressed with handset, having moved from Apple iPhone 6. This phone is ultimately function over form (for the practical, functional and technical user), rather than iPhones' form over function (for the fashion, brand, simple user). I went full Samsung, with the official Samsung LED case, an S2 classic watch, their Level U pro wireless headphones, and enough wireless chargers to boot. This suite boasts the ultimate functionality, convenience and customisability I have ever experienced with personal technology. I simply love it! - First impressions upon handling it is its weight. It's on the heavier side, but thats a good thing - it feels real and sturdy. - The screen is amazing!! It really shouts at you when you see it. I have never experienced a screen such as this and quite frankly, won't go back to IPS display. The blacks are a true black, because each pixel is individually lit by its own light source, which is another great power saver. When lit, the colors are vibrant and bright giving you an amazingly sharp picture quality. It's truly beautiful :) - The battery is noticeably better (larger) than the iPhone 6 and combined with good power saving features within the software, get you well over a days life on moderate usage. Hardcore users will expect to charge their device daily, like any other. I use it for business and productive use, but not games so I manage to maximise the lifespan. - The camera. Arguably the phones' best show stopper. This camera has everything! It is fast to activate, the viewing/capture angle is wider than the iPhone allowing you to fit more into the picture without having to step back to adjust. I'm no photography expert but I like this. It also has a lot of features within it's software too giving you great control on how you take your photos and videos. - On top of all that, it has wireless charging, fast charging, NFC for a variety of uses including Android Pay, printing, audio, sending files, and probably more. It is also waterproof to protect it to a point where spilling water on it or accidentally dropping won't affect it for a long while. It also has an internal cooling system (apparently the same system NASA use on their STS vehicles) to prevent it from getting too hot under heavy use. The software is incredible now, allowing for extended customisability. NOTICE: THIS PHONE IS A SINGLE-SIM VARIANT!!! I was looking forward to making use of the dual-sim capability, but the handset shipped to me by Wowcamera didn't seem to include this. So be careful. Not all S7 Edges, are the same. There are even variants that have a completely different processor. I'll have to wait until I get a new one further down the road... bad show Wowcamera :( I can however confirm, that despite being shipped from the Netherlands, the phone is unlocked and works perfectly in the UK. Overall, I gave the phone a solid 5-star rating because it more than met my expectations for a hand-held device. It's just remarkable and I look forward to seeing the next version of this line :) Best of luck buyers!!

Really pleased with this phone. It’s easy to use, runs smoothly and still performs well for everyday tasks like calls, messages, apps and browsing. The screen quality is clear and bright, and the camera is decent for general photos. Battery life is reasonable and lasts through the day with normal use. Overall, a reliable phone that does everything you need it to. Great value for money and would recommend.

As many others before me, upgrading from SGS5. I wouldn't actually if I hadn't drop my phone one month ago and shatter the screen... So, after almost a week of usage I have a bit mixed feelings... I loved my SGS5 and I was expecting a bit more, to be honest.... the screen doesn't seem bigger at all... and I prefer functionality (UX) over design... and the rubbery non slipping back on SGS5 was way more comfy in my hands than SGS7 Edge is. It is visually gorgeous, but as I said... what annoyed me was obviously setting the phone again from the scratch to fit my needs (back all the apps and all the settings [killing annoying notifications and uninstalling / disabling some apps I don't need, etc) ... I hoped the transition from my old phone would go smoother (lost some contacts that apparently were not linked to my google account, lost some chats in whatsapp, etc)... tried to set go launcher EX but was clearly not ready for android6 and edge... needs more polishing... so staying on touchwiz... which actually works pretty well... the only thing I don't like is the weak widget resizing mode... and the dock toolbar, offering only up to 5 icons... Sometimes it also happens I trigger something by holding the phone in my palm.. and my palm touching the edges of the screen that are now obviously responsive... and there is no bezel there... it happens more times that I care to admit... also the screen seems to be more polished and smooth... meaning the sliding feels very different... IMO too smooth NOW, to the good parts... All mentioned above are really minor things... and me being a creature of habit, used my SGS5 for 2 years almost always the same settings... saying that... this phone is gorgeously brilliant! - (front) CAMERA, absolutely brilliant... what a difference from SGS5.... food shots, pub shots, low light... everything much, much better - (back) CAMERA ... selfie mode is improved as well... much better in low light.. + I love the fact I can press the heart rate sensor on the back to take the photo - SCREEN is much brighter and really good outside on a bright day - SPEED is GOOD, it was OK before for me on SGS5 once optimised, so I don't really, really care about those milliseconds - BATTERY is OK.... is not great, was expecting better, but it's OK - THE SIM/microSD card slot... GOOD, now I don't need to remove the battery to insert them... but I need the pin to get the slot out... impractical a bit, but come on, how often do you really do that? - WATERPROOF... although SGS5 was waterproofed as well, the USB slot cover was SOOOO ANNOYING that I tore it away after couple of weeks.., SGS7 doesn't have it... which is great! Overall, great phone, highly recommended!

I went from a Galaxy S4 (rooted, running Android 7.1.2, Lineage) which served me well for 4 to 5 years to the S7 Edge... This is what I call a real upgrade. Compared to the S4, the S7 is faster in all applications (from a restart to opening the camera, launching any app., or loading websites), has significantly better battery life, a better screen (don't forget the S4 already had a great AMOLED screen) and, above all, a much, much better camera. I only upgraded because of the camera. I was never happy with that of the S4 (maybe it was just the one on my very phone that was a bit defective?): it would take its time to focus (many times I'd get blurry pictures no matter what, especially at close distance) and it was quite bad in low light conditions. The S7 Edge camera simply plays in another league. Simply put, there is no comparison between the two so, if you like to 'document' your daily life, having an excellent camera is a must: the S7 Edge will have you covered and more. The camera is really that good. Again, overall, the upgrade has been quite substantial in all aspects: browsing internet is now more satisfying because websites are loaded significantly faster; attaching pictures to a "Whatsapp" message is simply so much faster than before with the S4; even looking at the screen is a pleasure, especially if you have a background rich in black tones (which are beautifully and realistically represented on the screen). The battery life, once you switch off all those features you may not need which in my case are NFC, Bluetooth, Location, Mobile data when at home (WIFI on and viceversa) then you easily get 2 days (sometimes 3) of battery life. I can't be happier. I thought the battery would hardly last me 1 day, then l forgot most people seem to use their phones quite differently than the way I do. I bought an Otterbox Commuter case for it (no screen protector so far) with which I'm also very happy (mostly because I feel the phone is well protected... we'll see when the first accident happens). So, all in all, a totally worth upgrade, especially if you manage to get a good price for it. By the way, l read and watched many youtube videos comparing the S7/S7 Edge to the newer S8/S8+ and even newest S9/S9+ and regardless of the reviewer they all seem to agree that the S7 line is pretty much the same as the others. Just minor upgrades here and there (like the camera sensor, a non-significant upgrade as it seems), or the worse (to my usage) screen factor. With it, the phone surely fits better on your palm (as the s9 is now slimmer) but at the expense of changing the screen aspect ratio. Conversely, the S7 Edge is wider (so it's harder to hold on your palm or simply carry on your hand), but has the widely used 16:9 screen aspect ratio, which is mostly used for youtube, websites, pictures and what not. So, if you're like me and think the phone should serve you (not the way around) and you have better places where to put your money (e.g. investing it rather than burning it on the newest phone), the S7 Edge is still (in August 2018) an excellent buy.

I ordered this phone (30th November 2024) for a Christmas present for my eldest child (17 yo) but now it is July 2025 and the phone battery dies very quickly and so cannot be used. Unfortunately I am over the return window but it has only lasted 7 months. Usually our phones last us 2-3 years so this was so disappointing, especially to my son.

There are some pretty extensive reviews on this phone so I see little point redoing the main points of the phone. It's been a good upgrade for me coming from a Google Nexus 5X model running Android N 7.1.1. I was not able to use the Samsung OTG files data transfer system as the Nexus phone would not allow the Samsung app to be downloaded and installed. However, i used the opportunity to 'clean up' my phone and only download and install apps I wanted. As I logged into the Goggle app store it had all my apps available so the process was easy. I installed a 128Gb micro SD card and this worked well, even loading some data intensive apps into the SD card to save on the internal memory the apps work very well. Music apps have the option to locate data internally or externally so all of those are on the SD card which can be encoded for security. I had some issues linking Android Auto, now resolved, with the car but all the other connections seemed to be easy and solid. So far so good and I'm happy with the purchase especially the screen on it's highest resolution it is so clear. I use 1:25K walking navigation maps and it's a joy to use even with the zoom at maximum.

I have purchased two of these phones now ,one for me and my partner and it is by far the best flagship phone out there now and I'd imagine it will be for at least the year. Amazing looks and a great feel in the hand ,an absolutely beautiful screen with a brilliant camera are just a few things that I love about it . Also the quick connect feature that allows me to very simply and ironically quickly connection to my smart tv which allows me to view everything on my phone on the big screen ,so any videos or pictures can be watched or viewed on a big screen easily. I could go on but essentially I would recommend this to anyone who wants the best phone out there

I got this after i have returned my galaxy note 7 due to the news about the note 7 catching fire. The galaxy S7 Edge is amazing. The design is perfect with the dual screens both in front and at the back. It makes the phone looks unique in a very nice way and it is very nice to hold. Even my friend who is a graphics designer and iphone lover thinks that the design of this phone is great when we compared this phone to his iPhone 6S. The battery is really fast and the camera is just WOW! And one of the greatest advantage of this phone over any other phone is its battery. I am a very heavy user because I travel as part of my work so I am always on my phone playing games, streaming youtube videos and playing music etc... this phone could last me a day without a need to charge it. I no longer use my power bank with this phone. I highly recommend the galaxy s7 edge

ATTENZIONE: lo vendono come S7 EDGE, e così anche sulla confezione che arriva integra. peccato che all'interno ci sia S7 con lo schermo da 5.1, anzichè il 5.EDGE. Una bella illusione ottica.

I was worried that it could be a fake but it's definitely the real deal. I guess I don't have to mention that it's super fast and and extremely good looking. I like the price , way cheaper than us version

Das Handy ist toll. Pünktliche Lieferung aber der Stecker vom Handy passt nicht in Deutsche Stecker. Vermutlich für englische oder arabische Steckdosen. Schade. Sonst alles ok. Werde versuchen den Stecker umzutauschen.

Gestern bekommen, aber zurzeit für mich nicht nutzbar! Es lag ein Netzteil bei, was für Europa nicht funktioniert! Es stand davon nichts in der Beschreibung, was für eine bittere Enttäuschung! Jetzt muss ich extra noch ein Netzteil kaufen und hoffe, der Verkäufer ersetzt mir das! Hätte das in der Beschreibung gestanden, gekauft hätte ich es dann nicht!
