Great product but time consuming to assemble
The 90 bottle rack is a fantastic bit of kit. Quality materials and easily holds Champagne and most Prosecco bottles though Clos Monistrol Cava is too wide. The package comes well laid out and there's spare bits in case you break something. The only downside is that the instructions are very limited and it takes a long time to build.I've seen reviews saying the batons split but I certainly did not have this issue. The only tool you'll need to build this is a hammer.I found it easier to get the smallest metal cross-strut and push it into the X at the bottom of each of the first 10-15 batons to open up the gap a bit before hammering on to the cross struts. I also found it easier to leave the very outside row until I'd done 2-3 rows and the shape was taking form.Don't worry if the metalwork isn't flat once you've got all or any of the batons in, it goes perfectly square once you're done.If the manufacturer is reading this, it'd be great to put a bit more detail in the instruction manual and slightly higher quality control on the nails as I had 4 which wouldn't fit through the metalwork and two with heads too small or no head at all. Fortunately there were 9 spares so I had just enough.Overall, for those with time this is an excellent rack and painless to assemble. For those without time, you can buy it pre-assembled and that would be an excellent choice. All in all, hugely happy with my purchase.

Very strong and actually quite nice looking.
Good solid wine rack, once you get it together!Take the advice offered in other reviews when it comes to building it, for my part here are my tips. You must work on a solid flat surface, the living room carpet wont do! I pulled back the carpet in a spare room and built it on the bare floor boards, that worked a treat.Second tip, use a stiff backed knife (I used a penknife) and tap it gently into the slots in the wood battens to open them slightly as you fit them, makes it so much easier to then tap them into place. When you turn it over to nail the second set of steels on fit the two outer rails on each side and the corner brackets first, this pulls it all into line then its easy to line up the rest of the wood with the holes and bang the nails in.A few spare battons are included should you split one (I only split one then started using the penknife and all went well after that).End result a good solid cellar rack that should last for as long as your able to pull a cork out!

great product - you need a video to understand how to assembly for the first time
great and robust system. The only issue is that the instruction guide is very limited and unclear. I found the video below very useful and saved a lot of time. The kids could also build the second one by themselves. Once you know how to build it it really a great productwww.youtube.com/watch?v=4E16hlZriXc

Find a readymade one
It looks good but is a real pain to put together. I underestimated the flat area needed to put together so unless you have a large workbench you will be resigned to put it together on floor and probably damage the metal bits to some degree. Find a readymade one.

Good solid wine rack when I eventually managed to assemble it - took me. 4 hours and sore hands - do not underestimate how patient you have to be to assemble this rack

Five Star
Can't rate highly enough, both company & products are great, bit tricky at first but once you get use to putting them together it's easy, I needed two wine racks to be 5 high & 10 wide to fit in two matching alcoves so used this 9 X 10 & managed to adapted it perfectly, did need to buy a few extra parts, contacted the company & purchased what I needed, extremely helpful customer service. Want to say a big thank you to Cranville wine racks for all your help

Just not a quality product.. in fact a nightmare in waiting and I love to assemble flat pack..
Have returned items. It's so defective.. as fast as you tap a block in they split.. nails would have split the blocks even more., each piece sent the next one out which bent the metal, the blocks were so badly pre sliced that they were not square.. no quality control carried out as there were slices across knot.. guaranteed to split. just infuriating... feeling fed up and poorer as despite returning the item as it's so big and heavy, even in its unmade form it's going to cost me more than the paltry fiver offered to return it.. Think very carefully before you purchase..
