good budget sprayer great service
The sprayer arrived four days early but had a faulty molding which caused a small spray near the trigger. I suggested they send me a replacement part that arrived this morning. So sprayer now working and still 2 days before it was due to be delivered. If I were going to spray on a regular basis or for a really big area I might want something a bit bigger and sturdier but as a budget spray it looks up to the job at a fraction of the cost of the more expensive one that I had before one of the highly customised, therefore difficult to fix, parts broke. The trigger is the same action as the more expensive types, the container is a little thinner but still thick enough if not over pressurised although it has a pressure release valve. The pump handle clips to the filling lid so is out of the way. Some seem to have split the container by over pressurising, maybe the release valve can stick. Some don't get pressure but a little vaseline on the washer might be all that is required to improve the seal, mine works OK. Some comment that the spray is weak and make comparison with their bodily functions, pumping the spray at regular intervals will help this as it is only a small container and can't be over pressurised.

Reliable, lightweight, and easy to use—solid sprayer for garden, greenhouse, or pest control.
This sprayer’s built for clean coverage—5-litre tank with pump action pressure and adjustable nozzle. Ideal for watering, feeding, or spraying pest control mixes like SMC or foliar feeds. Trigger lock helps with longer sessions, and the shoulder strap makes it easy to carry around the garden or site. Build quality’s decent for the price—plastic feels light but sturdy enough for regular use. No leaks, no drips, and the nozzle adjusts from mist to jet. Great for greenhouse setups, fence treatments, or van stash where you want a compact sprayer that just works. Best rinsed after each use—residue can clog nozzle if left standing. 👍 Pros ✅ 5L capacity—good for medium jobs ✅ Adjustable nozzle—mist to jet ✅ Pump action—builds pressure fast ✅ Trigger lock—less hand strain ✅ Shoulder strap—easy to carry 👎 Cons ❌ Plastic build—lightweight but not heavy-duty ❌ No pressure gauge—manual feel only ❌ Needs rinsing—nozzle can clog if left dirty

Great for Spraying 4:1 ratio mix of Moss Killer. Fantastic Price. Can't go Wrong with this
Wow what a great spray pump for the money. I can't believe this was £7.05. It had such great reviews too so thought I had nothing to lose. It was a great choice. I have often needed one of these and often borrowed my mums, so it was high time I bought my own. I used this for mixing moss killer liquid 4:1 with water. It's so easy to do with this sprayer as its a 5 litre one with the markers of 1,2,3,4 & 5 litre stages up the side of it. I poured the moss killer to the 1 litre marker, poured the 4 parts of water in to the 5 litre marker for a perfect 4:1 ratio mix, then pumped up the pressure and started spraying. It was really easy. This comes with a strap to attach for carrying on your shoulder etc. I just used it as a carrying handle. It's not easy to pick up this canister without out it once it's full. You pump the handle to build up the pressure in the canister, then you can lock the handle into grooves on the lid which then double up as a carrying handle. When spraying and it starts to loose pressure just pump the handle again. There is a little red release valve on the canister too so you can release the pressure once you've finished spraying. The fine mist nozzle/rod did fly off the end of mine on the fist couple of times but that was my fault for not putting the rubber seal up the nozzle rod far enough. It needs to be put about an inch from the end before attaching to the hose part and screwing it on. This is fab for the price and cheaper than any garden centre. If in doubt.....buy it.

Does the job but do not overfill - A little disappointing
I wanted this product to water my seedlings in my shed. When i opened the product i found the shoulder strap was missing, annoying but as this product remains stationary not the end of the world. Filled it up with tap water and struggled to get it going, realised that the pressure couldnt build up as overfilled, once water at proper level it started to work. As far as doing the job I wanted it works sufficently, however after pumping air there is a lot of air escaping from the valve which means it is nowhere near as efficient as other products i have used over the years at keeping a constant spray going if you were spraying a large area. On the plus side the adjustable nozzle does give a fine control over the spray which I like. Overall, it is easy to use but inefficent.

Many, many problems.
I purchased this sprayer to replace a similar sized Hozelock sprayer which I had had for many years. The main reasons for doing so were the glowing reviews and of course the price. When it arrived it was obvious that the construction was no where near to the quality of the Hozelock. The spraying lance is nothing more than an oversized drinks straw. The pump handle has no 'feel' to it and felt loose. Perhaps explained by it's box girder style construction which no doubt saves on the amount of plastic used. The supplied carry strap is very narrow and would after prolonged use begin to cut in. Overall it felt cheap (not surprising as it was well below half the price of others) and flimsy akin to a childs toy. But as it is something that is used at most, for me, a couple of times a year I thought it would suffice. How wrong was I. Having read the advice on previous reviews, before use, I tightened everything up. Filled it with a liquid lawn moss killer and began to pump. As previously mentioned the pump lacks any positive feel, unlike my old Hozelock where you could feel the pressure building, this, for some reason, lacks this which led to, after about 5 to 10 plunges, the pressure valve letting rip and covering me in moss killer. Lesson learnt though. So I ventured onto the lawn to commence spraying. The spraying was nothing short of pathetic. No amount of adjustment to the nozzle would alter it. The next issue is that pressure was maintained for no more than 30 to 45 seconds which resulted in continual interuptions to put the unit down and pump it up again. My old Hozelock onced pressurised worked for well over 10 minutes and was capable of spraying a much greater area. I suspose it's possible I had a faulty unit, although the build quality does suggest otherwise. If you've never had any other sprayer you may consider this as adequate, especially given the price but overall this is a very poor example of a sprayer. You get what you pay for. Mine has been returned. Pay the extra and buy a Hozelock. I now have.

Some bits seem fragile but works well enough. Do have a trial run before using in anger though.
I needed a pressure sprayer to apply some algae and mould killer to the flags on the patio. This seemed popular on this site - and cheap too - so this is what I got. And it works well enough once it's set up, but you might want to learn from my mistake and fill it with some water for a trial run before using it in anger. This isn't an expensive item and that shows in some parts. The bottle and pump bits are fine but the sprayer parts seem fragile, particularly the tube that connects the handle to the spray head; I suspect that this won't survive me accidentally treading on it, so I'll just have to be careful. Having set it up - that's not complicated and doesn't take long - I filled it with algae killer and water and thought I'd be good to go. This was a mistake - not a huge one, and soon rectified, but a mistake nonetheless. See, the thing is that even when I thought I'd set it up, I found I still needed to make adjustments. Some of the connections needed screwing up a bit tighter, and the spray head which wasn't attached correctly needed to be taken off a reconnected, and then adjusted to give the spray pattern I wanted. Making all these adjustments meant that I and bits of the garden got covered in algae killer solution, which was irritating. It would have been better if I'd put a litre of water in it first and used that to get everything set up and if you buy one of these, I'd recommend that's what you should do. But when I did get it set up and working, it was fine. Because of the fragility of that spray arm I have my doubts about how long it's going to last, but that just means I'll have to try and be less clumsy than usual when I use it. So four stars for this then; it works, I like it and for what you get for the price you pay it's fine but that concern over how long it weill last stops it from getting the full five stars.

One time use. More like a toy.
Used it for spraying a herbicide on my lawn. Worked ok the first time and then started to leak at the connections. Replaced the rubber seals but did not solve the issue. If you are fine with it being disposable after the first use, then buy it.
