Scotts Miracle-Gro EverGreen Complete 100 sq m Lawn Food, Weed and Moss Killer Spreader

An update from my last year feedback as we are now in the spring of 2021 and I am feeding my hungry lawn after winter months. My lawn is flourishing beautifully and weeds are dissapearing gradually. My family are admiring how healthy our lawn is growing. 2020 feedback: Excellent product that worked magic on my lawn. I received it a month ago and used immediately. Applied again after 3 weeks...and voila!! My lawn in lush green, healthy , and growing fast. Few tiny patches where the weed was, but I am certain it will recover soon.

Editing my previous review.... It took a lot longer to work than what was indicated on the tub (hence my initial poor review), but it appears to have done a pretty good job after all. Initially the weeds grew at twice the rate, but they did eventually die off, and the patchy grass now looks a lot better.

Buy this every year and it does a great job, for stubborn lawns you will need to give it time and lots of treatment.

Can see it's working after a couple of days

I am a bit reluctant to review the product because it might be misleading considering that it was supposed to rain where I live and it just didn't for quite a while now. And I had no way to water the lawn appropriately as I should have. As far as it goes it worked well against the moss but the bigger weeds seem to have laughed at it. The grass didn't improve dramatically but then how could it without sufficient rain? Now I have patches of bald or grey areas where the moss died but the grass isn't in a hurry to cover! Any ideas anyone?

Excellent product, although my five or six year old Evergreen container cracked last year, so I had to purchase a new container but then purchased a large bag of the 4 in 1 Complete for re-filling - bit tricky but with a cardboard funnel, you can do it reasonablly quickly without too much spilling onto the path! Easy to spread and weeds just "grow like hell" for about a week then die out, leaving clear, grass. Mind you it grows quickly so you'll be cutting the grass before you know it. I tend to apply items such as this twice a year, in late spring and in autumn. Following the autumn treatment I scarify the lawn and this removes the accumulated clippings and dead moss and then leave it to recover over the winter and early spring Application of these substances is not easy unless you take the time to mark out the area to treat; I use a bail of twine and measure 1 metre corridors and ensure that the dispenser covers the area. Ideal for a small lawn, the dispenser can be re-used and does not corrode like the push along dispensers. We use it on a 64 sq m front lawn and a 200 sq m back lawn and have to purchase a separate bag to do both lawns. The product does work, the grass certainly does grow stronger after application and it does kill some, but not all of the weeds, but all of the moss. Why it doesn't kill some weeds I have no idea, even when we directly apply and water in the grains targeting the resistant weed. For that reason, I have deducted a star.
