Yes, this would work well in a greenhouse. However these fans aren't designed to use carbon filters. This type of fan is identical to the type that bathroom extractor fans use so moisture isn't a problem but a carbon filter would certainly shorten the lifespan of this product.

how long is the cord and how power full is it

Cord is 1.8 metres. Fan tip to cowl clearance is more than expected so efficiency is less but overall, good flow performance for the price.
