Feast On Flowers has so many gorgeous recipes, I had a hard time deciding what to start with. I might have started with the Rose Petal Margarita to help soften the blow of a hectic Thanksgiving but my son begged for the Lemon Zest and Edible Flower Shortbread cookies. They were as tasty and they were pretty. I’m not a great cook and the recipes are easy enough for me to make and make look good. The Candied Crystalized Flowers recipe was fun to do. I made candied violets for tea time. Thanksgiving day we made small flowered crepes for our caviar and crème fraiche! I’m so happy with this cookbook, I’m giving it as a gift for the holidays. Wish I’d let my phone eat first so I’d have photos for this review.

I love this book! I ordered several for holiday hostess/host gifts and I am buying more to keep on hand for friends with upcoming birthdays. It has innovative, visually stunning, and healthy delicious recipes for food and beverages. The recipes use a large variety of flowers and herbs that add flavor and nutrition in a beautiful presentation. The recipes are simple and fast with easy to find ingredients.

This is such a creative book. I had no idea that flowers are delicious. I get intimidated easily by complicated recipes, so I was initially a bit apprehensive. That all went away as soon as I got my copy. The recipes are so accessible and lots of fun. This will be the gift I give everyone this year.

I was totally thrilled with this book. It is just the thing to put some color and joy into a grey New England Day and I will be buying it for all my friends. Perfect Gift! Unlike other cookbooks, these recipes seem really accessible. I think this would be a great book for teenagers who are interested in cooking! Daisy

The paper quality of this book is very poor, it feels like newspaper. The photos are pretty but it honestly is just pinterest in book format, theres no substance.
