I don’t think it makes any difference. This is to be put on the baby’s bum to release wind, so I’d say it would work regardless of what they are evening fed

How many minutes does it take to hear the whistle sound after insertion.

In our case it was within 5 seconds, I wouldn't insert it for longer than 5-10 seconds. But I'm no doctor, it just doesn't seem to me as a very comfy procedure for the baby so I tried to minimise the length of time I kept it inside.

is there an English manual ????????

Mine came with instructions in English. It's really simple; lubricate the windi (I think you can use baby oil, I prefer to use a natural unscented oil) then insert gently to the point where the windi gets wider. You can't really go too far because of the way it's designed. I would recommend holding baby's legs up towards his chest. It's also helpful to do the 'bicycle legs' action with baby before using the windi as this helps to move trapped wind. A gentle tummy masssge (go clockwise) before using the Windi might also help.
