Bodyguard Hair Heat Protect Spray, Lightweight Invisible Protection

I have been using the ghd Bodyguard Heat Protect Spray whenever I style my hair with heat tools and it has quickly become an essential part of my routine. The spray is very lightweight and evenly coats the hair without making it feel sticky or heavy, which is important when you are using straighteners or a hair dryer. What I like most is that it helps protect the hair from heat damage while still leaving it feeling smooth and natural. I noticed that my hair looks healthier and less dry after styling since I started using it regularly. The mist also distributes easily so you only need a small amount before styling. Another nice thing is that it does not leave any greasy residue and it has a light clean scent that is not overpowering. Overall it is a really reliable heat protection spray and a great product if you frequently use styling tools but still want to keep your hair looking healthy and strong. very strong smell though

So far so good! I spray on my towel dried hair, leave to air dry for a while before finishing with a low heat hairdryer. It's very effective and performs well. My hair is soft and smooth with no heaviness, no stiffness, no chalky powdery feel and no greasiness too. It smells amazing too!! It is quite pricey though. Current price of £18.00 for a fairly small bottle (120ml) is a little on the high side, however, you do get what you pay for and ghd is a brand which consistently delivers quality products.

My daughter who has waist length straight hair won’t use any other heat protector. I like it too, I have bleached bobbed hair that can be easily heat damaged and this makes it really nice and soft, even without any other product. Easy to use, smells good and doesn’t make my hair greasy which so many other products so. I think it is pretty effective and will take my teens opinion as read because she knows more about this stuff than I do!!!

Love this stuff. Protects hair and leaves it nice and shiny, with a lovely smell. Highly recommend for heat.

I haven't tried many heat protections sprays so not sure how it compares but I feel this is specifically effective for heat styling

I’ve recently started using straighteners and curlers more often, and as I’ve got really long hair, I’m quite conscious of the damage that heat styling might cause. My hair also has a tendency to get frizzy, so I was keen to try something that would help protect it from becoming dry and frizzy. I sprayed this through my hair while it was still quite wet, then left it to air dry for a little while before using my hairdryer. I didn’t use a huge amount of spray, but I felt I’d distributed it reasonably well through my hair. After blow-drying, my hair felt lovely and soft, although it wasn’t particularly smooth at that stage because I hadn’t really styled it. I then used my GHD straighteners and my hair felt much smoother afterwards. It felt really nice, and I was very happy that the spray hadn’t left a sticky feeling in my hair. At around £18, this isn’t cheap, but I’m quite happy to spend a bit more on something intended to protect my hair from heat damage, especially given its length. I can’t tell from using it whether it’s actually preventing damage, but I liked how soft and smooth my hair felt after styling, and I’ll be continuing to use it whenever I get my GHDs out.

I’m not keen on heat protection sprays as they leave my hair feeling greasy after a day or 2, but I gave this a try after my hairdresser put it on my hair last week. It smells lovely and made a good job after I did my own hair. No frizz just a straight sleek look

Me ha encantado este protector térmico. Deja el pelo muy suave, brillante y sin sensación grasa. Lo he usado antes del cepillo de aire caliente y he notado que controla muy bien el encrespamiento, además de dejar el cabello con un aspecto sano y cuidado. Tiene un olor muy agradable y no apelmaza el pelo. Sin duda, volvería a comprarlo y lo recomiendo a quien use herramientas de calor con frecuencia.

Je l'utilise systématiquement avant chaque lissage ou bouclage, et c'est un vrai coup de cœur. Il protège parfaitement les cheveux de la chaleur des appareils coiffants sans les alourdir ni les rendre collants. La brume est fine, s'étale très bien et laisse la chevelure douce, brillante et protégée. Un produit valeur sûre que je recommande les yeux fermés !
