Loved this series. Once I purchased one grade I quickly ordered other grades. They give multiple pages of activities for each story, not just a question & answer page. They activities vary and the kids love that sometimes there are crossword puzzles, etc.

I use this book to tutor for a change from the classroom work. Each story has worksheets that enforces what is taught in the classroom. After each story there are comprehension questions, language skills, and many opportunities to think.

These passages are short and contain a number of activities for students to do while working on comprehension and reading skills. The students enjoy the activities.
