Avalon Organics 473 ml Biotin B Complex Shampoo

I had waiste length fine thick hair which had been falling out continuously for a year due to hormonal imbalance. I tried many avenues to stop this, including organic shampoos. Organic surge volume boost shampoo was excellent, giving me lustrous hair but at certain times of the month hair would still fall out a little. Within one wash of this shampoo I found my hair felt and looked thicker & very lustrous. After a month of usage, I've noticed that I hardly even lose the normal amount of hair for any head. Hormonal fluctuations don't seem to affect my hair now. My hair does feel stronger and look full and shiny that I can't imagine why I would ever stop using this shampoo, I keep double taking wondering if it's my hair...it looks thick or at least thicker than one would expect after a years worth of daily hairloss on very long hair. My hair feels thickest around the roots and the first few inches however.I leave it on for five minutes, the scalp only, I don't rub it through the longer lengths, rinse off and have found I don't need conditioner with it and my hair is left in such nice condition. Though I do oil the ends of my hair always. This shampoo doesn't lather much and seems to sink in during the time it's left on, which must be why it has had such a positive effect, it's feeding my scalp. No suds or very little, seem to wash away but my hair is left feeling clean and scalp feeling cooled and fresh.I may try the matching conditioner but merely because this is so good am left wondering if the perfection of this shampoo can be improved upon, gilding the lily. I do find this shampoo expensive but for what am getting in return it is worth it for me.

I developed a sensitivity to most shampoos about six months ago and have tried all sorts of shampoos since, some expensive, trying to find one that doesn't dry out my fine straight hair and doesn't cause my scalp to itch. Finally! I like lavender scent, and will try the others and the conditioner as well. Also I don't have to wash my hair as often, a nice bonus, I can go an extra day with this shampoo. My hair is soft and shiny and not flat, it has body. And this is cruelty free. Thank you for making this lovely shampoo.

I have used this make of shampoo for many years as SLS cause me irritation. It’s a nice shampoo, however there ate many more SLS free on the market now and at a more reasonable price. I believe in paying money when it’s ‘worth it’ but shampoo is not something I worry about too much. As long as it cleans hair, doesn’t make it fall out, SLS Free and is a reasonable price I’m happy. This is good value but there are similar at a better price.

This is a lovely hair shampoo if you have issues with normal over the counter shampoos. We have used this for years and we have not had any itchines or issues with scalp or hair. Would highly recomend. The only issue we have just had is with packaging. The bottle is fine and undamaged but duing transit the top must have come open and about a third of the contents spilt out into the sealed plastic bag it was shipped in. Looking at another revue, seems this has happend before.

My hair type is thin/soft scandinavian hair, which I have also dyed repeatedly plus I use hairdryers and occasionally hairstraighteners - i.e. my hair is quite damaged and dry. I have also been suffering from hairloss on and off for the last 10 years. which is why I decided to try this one which is specifically for people with hairloss.I have used this schampoo for about two months, combined with Avalon Organics Rosemary Volumising Conditioner, and I LOVE it. My scalp feels so clean yet healthy, and not as dry and shiny as it used to do with normal salon brand. With this schampoo it just feels clean, yet hydrated.The amount of added volume is as if I had doubled the amount of hair on my head. Literally. As mentioned previously, it boosts the body of each strand a lot and quite frankly it feels like I have someone elses, much thicker, hair. It is truly amazing, and the volume lasts until next wash!!The smell is super nice and natural and the bottle lasts forever! I have absolutely no negative things to say about this schampoo.

Originally I'm turning to organic product is because both my hands have very sensitive skin, and react to any washing products with red rashes and tiny boils that feels very itchy, sometimes painful. This product doesn't irritate my skin as much as normal shampoo from shops, but I still get itchy skin and red rashes after using it. The other thing is I have long and thick hair (as in volume), it is simply not strong enough to wash my hair, and I have to use A LOT to wash all my hair thoroughly. Probably used 3-4 table spoons just for my whole scalp, and the rest of my hair use another 4-5 table spoons. So the bottle doesn't last very long for me, and it is not cheap too, so unfortunately doesn't quite work for me. My husband really enjoys it though, he has short hair and its not as thick as mine, and he loves the smell. I just wished it would work for me.

I have been using this shampoo for 1 month now and I have noticed a massive difference in the quality of my hair - my boyfriend and family have all noticed it too! Before using this organic shampoo, I used Aussie volume shampoo. This shampoo, even though it's £10 more than Aussie, is worth every single penny! I have noticeably more volumised hair, which is all shiny and soft! Some reviews say how heavy the product was and I completely disagree. My hair is very thin and can look dull, flat and lifeless very quickly but after using this shampoo, without exception, makes my hair look so healthy and full. I couldn't recommend this product more! The only negative is the fact it doesn't lather very well, so for my long hair I have to use quite a considerable amount. However, this is always the down side with using organic shampoo as it's so natural!!

I had given up hope. My hair was falling like crazy, my scalp was showing, and my mum pointed this out every time I saw her. I've been using this shampoo for a year now, and I went abroad to visit my mum just recently. She was shocked at how thick my hair looks and she cant see my scalp anymore. Even my daughter, who oils my hair every so often, commented on how my hair does not come off on her hands anymore when she's oiling it. This miracle might be due to this shampoo, or the oil I'm using, or the prayers I'm doing several times a day for my hair, or a combination of all 3. I dont know. But I've given this as a gift to my sisters and to my mum now. Not only does it seem to thicken hair and stop too much hairfall, but it also lathers well, washes my hair well, and my hair can go much longer now before it feels greasy and in need of a wash. As with everything, be patient and consistent, and try it for at least 6 months before you judge.

I ordered this going by review as I have oily scalp and I have severe hair fall with itching scalp ,it goes by it promise of giving volume but makes hair very dry and easily breakable and it has reduced hair fall in a minimal Amy not as I expected ,so I was just satisfied with shampoo not happy and the amount is too much for only these qualities

very happy with this product. is full of natural ingredients and leaves my hair feeling very healthy. didn't notice thickness or volume right away but after couple weeks started to notice a difference . I'm 32 year old male and I have really thin hair and this stuff works really good. no chemicals and all that crap they have in all those over the counter shampoos and conditioners. awesome product.

I used it for 2 months did not see anything apart from making my hair super thick and voluminous, do not use this shampoo without a conditioner afterwards or you’ll rip your hair out whilst brushing it wet or dry!!!
