Comprehensive for beginner
I have never done canning or preserving before and have bought this book as an introduction. It couldn’t be more helpful, advising me what equipment I need, clear pictures to follow and concise instructions. There are simple recipes to get me started - I can’t wait!

I bought this book as a beginner into the world of preserving. Loads of good written information and recipe. The only downside are the photographs. They aren't great. And definitely need to clear for a beginner, it's important to see what things look like.I would still recommend the purchase.

Awfully written.
Mistakes and bad grammar, needlessly confusing instructions.It's in serious need of an editor. Even the front has "Ipsum" written on it and the back cover instructs me to "scroll up and click the buy now button."

Photocopied rubbish
Don’t waste your money. This ‘book’ consists of poor quality black and white photocopies bound together. Recipes have no images and images that are included are fuzzy, low resolution stock pictures that don’t add any value to the text.

As someone who knows little about canning and preserving foods, this book is very helpful. Going into detail about each different preservation process, what will be required for each one, and providing thorough details about how it is helpful and what to watch for in case of any issues. I am someone who is always trying to save money and eat better, and this book provides instruction to do just that, with the addition of prepping my food storage supply. And in times like today with so much uncertaintyof what's going to happen next, it is never a bad idea to make sure you're prepared for an emergency. Own it, Love it
I love this book. It gives you a lot of important information without a long winded explanation. The chapters are clear with specific directions and charts enabling anyone to preserve safely at home.It also includes recipes for delicious relishes and beautiful preserved vegetables. Preserving food is a lost art in a world that over consumes without saving for later. If you want to learn more about preserving foods with the added bonus of recipes that demonstrate your newly acquired knowledge, then don’t just read this book, own it.

Pretty Good
It has many recipes and decent descriptions of the process. Not much fluff, which is awesome. I would buy again if my current copy was destroyed.

Great for beginners
My garden produces a lot of veggies, and I hate for them to go to waste so I decided to get to work learning how to can and store them for the winter. This book is great for a complete beginner like myself.
