Good quality Duracell rechargeable batteries
These Duracell brand rechargeable AA batteries have proved reliable through multiple recharges. I use them mostly in Xbox controllers, battery-powered Christmas lights and remote controls. They work well in each of these applications although, as with most rechargeable batteries last somewhat less time than equivalent non-rechargeable alkaline batteries (probably lasting about two-thirds the time of alkaline ones). But being able to use them again and again of course means that there is the potential to save a lot of money. They charge fairly quickly, although some of that performance will be down to the type of charger that you have. Once charged, they do seem to retain that charge very well over time even if not being used which is definitely a good thing when using rechargeable batteries. There are clearly other less well-known brand rechargeable batteries which come in larger quantities for a similar price. So it’s probably a matter of personal preference whether the Duracell brand gives an extra level of assurance. But for reliability, longevity and a known brand I’m very pleased with these.

Reliable power that actually lasts
These are easily the best rechargeable batteries I've used. The 2500 mAh capacity is no joke—they stay powered for days in my kids' toys and weeks in my wireless mouse. I appreciate that they don't "self-discharge" quickly when sitting in a drawer. They handle many recharge cycles without losing their total capacity. Save yourself the money on disposables and just get these.

Great rechargeables, but not perfect for heavy use
I’ve been using the Duracell Rechargeable AA batteries for a few weeks in remotes, wireless mice, and a handheld gaming controller. They hold a charge well, and it’s really convenient that they come pre-charged — no waiting around before the first use. They perform reliably for everyday devices and save money over disposable batteries in the long run. The only downside is that in high-drain devices, like my gaming controller or camera, the charge doesn’t last as long as advertised. I’ve had to recharge a bit more often than expected, but for regular use in low-to-medium drain devices, they’re excellent. Overall, these batteries are dependable, eco-friendly, and a solid addition to any household, just manage your expectations if you plan to use them in power-hungry gadgets.

Reliable and handy to have spares
This is my second purchase of these, so I can definitely vouch for them being good quality. We keep them on rotation because my son uses them in his Xbox controller. It means we always have charged batteries on hand and never get caught out mid-game. They hold their charge well and have been really reliable. Happy with them!

I actually can't remember the last time I bought a normal set of non-rechargeable AA batteries...
I actually can't remember the last time I bought a normal set of non-rechargeable AA batteries as I've been purchasing rechargeable Duracell batteries for years now. I have a man drawer with a few spares in that have been charged up so I always have some handy when I need them. Unlike non-rechargeable batteries I find that you don't get much warning with these before they are nearly completely depleted so it's a good idea to have a few pre-charged ones spare. Despite lots of devices using Li-Ion batteries these days I've actually found that the number of devices around the house that require AA batteries has increased. Things like digital cameras, remote controls, wireless computer keyboards, wireless mice, console joypads, Oculus Rift touch controllers, children's toys and even electronic doorbells, to name a few, all still seem to require them. The nice thing about these batteries is that they arrive pre-charged so they don't require charging (although I suspect they will not be charged to 100%). They also claim to retain 80% of their change after 12 months if they are not used which is great news for the ones that I have stored in the man drawer. These can also be recharged up to 400 times... if that's true then these are going to last a long time! Of course it will be difficult to verify these claims for a while but if they fail to live up to expectations then I will update my review. They also come with a 5 years warranty with Duracell - I hope I never need to use it! These seem to be genuine batteries and look like the real thing. I used a couple of them recently (for Oculus Rift touch controllers) and they appear to be working fine so I have no complaints so far! Pros: - Amazing value compared to regular non-rechargeable batteries - 2500mAh so should be good for more demanding devices - Batteries come pre-charged (although unlikely to be 100% charged) - Hold their charge when not in use (i.e. 80% of charge after 1 year) - Can potentially be recharged up to 400 times - 5 year warranty - Better for environment than non rechargeable batteries as you are reusing them repeatedly as opposed to disposing of them (batteries are full of harmful chemicals and heavy metals). - WAY cheaper from Amazon than the local supermarkets (nearly half the price) Cons: - Perhaps a little expensive when compared to non-rechargeable batteries but they really do pay for themselves after a few charges. - You get very little warning when the batteries are running out of charge. Always a good idea to have some on standby. Neutral: - As with any rechargeable battery it requires time to recharge

If you need dependable rechargeable batteries for everyday use, these are a great choice.
I have been using the Duracell Recharge AA 2500mAh batteries for several weeks now, and I am very satisfied with their performance. These batteries hold a charge for a long time and have a high capacity, which makes them ideal for devices that consume a lot of power. I appreciate that they can last up to 10 years in storage, so I can keep them as a backup without worrying about losing their charge. They recharge quickly and maintain their capacity over many cycles, saving me money and reducing waste compared to disposable batteries. The Duracell brand delivers on its promise of quality and reliability.
