Great! No complaints...
I'm delighted with this, it's great. I'm using mine with a Majority CD/DAB/bluetooth player and an Edifier active speaker system, so I have volume controls on each device, treble & bass controls on the speakers and I can adjust them all to get optimum sound. My records are pop/electro-pop/house/dance. I get the same quality sound from this deck as my CD player. As stated in another review, the turntable speed was a bit slow but you can adjust this: you push a small screwdriver into holes on the underneath of the player. You can carefully place the player on the edge of a table and adjust speed while record is playing. Others have commented that the stylus is noisy but you simply shut the lid when record is playing, problem solved. Nice bit of kit and looks nice (I have the wood model).

does what it says on the tin
I bought this for my brother so comments are restricted to the set up and first impressions rather than continual use.The bluetooth connection was a little tricky to establish and took about 10 minutes and on/off switching to get it going. Once paired it connected quickly after devices were turned on/off several times. Paired it with a Creative iroar go (a great little bluetooth speaker) and my brothers TV set up. The sound is good through bluetooth and streamed uninterupted over 5m seperation, one end of the room to another. Tried the wire connection with the supplied RCA inputs and this was again good. Without an external speaker the sound is very limited and may suffice if trying to be quiet under the bedclothes, otherwise you are better off with another speaker. The control of the needle is good for vertical and horizontal movement doesn't appear to have auto return once the record has ended.I am unable to comment on the digital conversion as this feature was not used during set upFor the price this is a good buy. It surprised me how good it was and I am considering buying one myself though I never got a lot of my LPs back from friends I lent them to.

Works a treat
Took awhile to connect to Bluetooth but it does say it might do.Once connected it's brilliant.I have it connected to my soundbar and it sounds great, so it all depends on what you connect it to .easy to use and plays well

Perfect
Having recently gotten a large collection of LPs, I decided to buy this to replace my aging LG turntable. It sits in behind my monitor no problem Sound is good from it's own speakers but, MUCH better using headphones. Now the bundled software WASN'T compatible with the latest mac os so I downloaded it from the Ion website and it works well. The bluetooth - speaker or headphones is an added bonus. All in all a turntable that's neat, does the job and without too much faffing

Faulty out of the box.
The media could not be loaded. I bought this as a gateway for getting back into Vinyl after years away from it, having Bluetooth would allow it to connect to my sound system without trailing wires and I was really looking forward to listening to my old records again. In preparation I'd cleaned up a few of my old records whilst I waited for the delivery.Once it arrived I excitedly set it all up and got it synced to my audio system via bluetooth. I placed the stylus down at the start of the record and smiled with anticipation for the song to start; all I could hear was a very loud buzzing, electrical sound (not a faint hum you sometimes expect) and only hint on the song under that noise. Not good.I disabled the bluetooth and tried using headphones, the sound was the same. Next I tried the line-out, the same result. All outputs were tested individually as advised in the instructions and on forum posts. Nothing worked. It seems the ION Air LP was dead on arrival. The system was plugged into an earthed power socket.I don't know what was wrong with it, a wiring fault or something wrong with the built in pre-amp.Amazon were perfect with the return, all I had to do was click a button, choose replacement or refund (I selected refund) and write a short description of the problem, they arranged for it to be picked up the next working day. Zero hassle, just how it should be. Thank you Amazon. As for the ION Air LP I'd advise against buying it, if the item arrives with a fault from the factory and it did have a QC passed sticker on it, then I can only assume their Quality Control is seriously lacking. Check out the AUDIO TECHNICA LP60USB as an alternative, it doesn't have Bluetooth but does having some great reviews.

ION Air LP Bluetooth streaming turntable
I recently bought a Bose ® SoundLink ® Mini Bluetooth Speaker II - Carbon to replace wired Labtech speakers. I also had quite a few vinyl LPs knocking about that had not been played for years, some dating back to the mid-1960s.Nothing upon which to play them, as over the years digital CDs had ousted analogue vinyl LPs and all the old hardware was also replaced. And I didn't want any extraneous cables to dedicated speakers. The ION Bluetooth turntable was the answer for me to re-experience the old stuff. The sound is so much richer on vinyl, even the crackle and hiss can be enjoyed. Easy to set up, it paired with the speaker within seconds. It is an excellent and aesthetically pleasing turntable for a part time vinyl player. If you are a hardcore audiophile, perhaps not for you as you get what you pay for, and hardcore audiophiles spend a lot and quite rightly expect a lot. But they are mad people. However, for less than £80 this is an impressive piece of kit and was solely bought for its Bluetooth capability. It brings back to life my ancient vinyl and I am more than happy.Thoroughly recommended.

Quality 👍
Maybe you ask yourself about brand...well, it's not a no-name, it is a brand with history in turntables, even enthusiastics choose this brand, but more advanced models.Offers amazing quality, sound is in default preset, the rest must do your sound system.I would preffered AptX HD for bluetooth (hi-res audio), but i have external Bluetooth module for that. Using inbuilt BT will downgrade/compress the sound.Material quality is good, finally a product that in reality is like in the photos. Nice glossy finishing, clear transparent cover, new type connectors, i love it's discrete design. The moving mechanism is silent.Aux-in is welcomed for other players, such as casette tape or other jack 3.5 sound source, if you don't have more input on the sound system. It works even with the turntable off via RCA output, but no pre-amp. Aux-IN, nice move! Nice packed and protected, the cover came with foil and also in a bag.

REPRODUCE PERFECTAMENTE DISCOS ANTIGUOS A 78 RPM !!

Affordable quality
I have a huge collection of old vinyl that I would like to transfer to mp3s. The really low priced turntables (under $100) just didn't look all that well made until I came across this one from ION. I already own the ION Tailgater speaker and absolutely love it, so I hoped that the turntable would be of a similar quality. It arrived a day or two ahead of schedule and was a breeze to set up. It worked perfectly right out of the box, and within minutes I was streaming vinyl to my Tailgater. It paired on the first try.The turntable has many features that I only found on the more expensive ones, such as the ability to stream directly to a Bluetooth speaker. It also has some "heft" to it. It has a decent tone arm & stylus with a lever to raise and lower the stylus onto the LP. It also has a full sized dust cover that you can close while your album is playing. The controls are sturdy and well laid out. Just one button on the back turns on the power (the usb & power connections are on the back) and on the front is a real wired headphone jack, a button for Bluetooth pairing and a volume control knob. The turntable also has an "auto on/off" feature that stops the platter and lifts the stylus at the end of your record. All in all, a decent turntable with features you normally find on turntables costing well over $100. I haven't plugged it in to my computer yet (waiting on a longer USB cable from Amazon), and it also comes with software for transferring and converting your songs to mp3.
