Iv always had it very bad on the back on the thighs, iv always hid my legs and used every cream, exercise, detox in the book but it still won't budge.I bought this roller (0.5mil) with some cellulite oil (green pharmacy - antycellulitowy massage oil £4.99 from amazon) I tried the roller straight away and there was no pain at all. It says to apply as much pressure as u want, I was pressing quite hard and noticed this stopped the wheel turning and insted on \"piercing\" I was scratching. So after some research I read that you should use either a 1 or 1.5 mm if your cellulite is bad. So I purchased the 1.5, iv only used it 2 times and apply oil straight after and.... OH MY GOD! I'm not even joking, what a result. Yes I still have cellulite it's not going overnight but honestly my legs look so much better. I even think if I keep this up over the next 2 weeks I'll be confident enough to wear a dress to a christening coming up! Fingers crossed. I really do recommend this product . I use the 0.5mm on my face, neck and chest and 1mm on my upper arms on separate days, twice a week. (4 x rolls in 4 directions). Takes a while but does not hurt. Make sure skin and dermaroller are clean. Use good quality collagen emollient twice a day on treated areas. Skin is a little sore and pink after use but this is to be expected as you have slightly damaged the dermis - that is the idea. Therefore, I recommend you dermaroller when not planning to go out or do it in the evening. As I am in my late fifties, I also use a glycolic peel on my face and neck 2 days after rolling and the day before the next treatment. Continue to use a good quality SPF cream on face, neck and chest (on top of collagen) and a similar body cream everywhere else. With this regime, you will notice a marked result in 1 month - that is the time it takes for your skin to replace itself. After a few weeks the improvements will be obvious to you and others. I tried Bio-Oil, and Scar Gel Cream - FLAWless, for months at a time, and occasionally combined them with this, and used this alone.I have two scars, two moles, removed a month apart. One has faded to a white scar, which is nice, however, the one on my right leg, is still raised, red and bumpy. I initially thought that the stitches had been pulled too tight/were still in, but having a nurse check this over, it is not the case. (Although the local anaesthetic did not work on the second mole removal - felt everything, despite 2+ injections, so I still reckon this is linked.)I love this sensation that this provides, a nice prickling sensation, and although to begin with, your skin looks a little redder, it soon calms down. I used this regularly on my scar, and also the slightly fading scar, to see if there was any visible difference, but have not seen anything so far. I have been using this on and off for over a year and a half, and also tried using it on various acne scars from my teenage/adult years. Although the nice sensation is there, making it very pleasant to use, I have not seen any visible difference. I tried varying levels of pressure, and I always made sure to roll it in varying directions, but nothing.I will keep trying this, as it is a very reasonable price, and will also keep my eye out for anything else that \"claims\" to reduce the appearance of scars. I wouldn't recommend this if you think it will make any difference, but it is certainly worth giving it a go for the price. If you see any differences, please feel free to let me know.
