Love these cake tins
Love PME cake tins for an even bake. Easy to clean,thick and lightweight,cakes are easier getting out. Good price for quality tins.

Perfectly straight sides for a more professional looking layer cake
Bought these as I wanted to up my game in my hobby baking, I wanted to make a layer cake with straighter sides than the usual shop bought tins make. I bought the 3 inch deep ones to start and couldn’t get the batter to cook through properly despite lowering the oven temp, baking for longer and using cake strips! Made the decision to buy the 2 inch tins and make more layers. These tins are perfect and I’ve nailed the cake! I use a 6oz mix per tin and they make about 1.5 inch cooked layers. Ordered the 6 inch tins also to attempt a tiered cake. I do line both the bottom and sides of the tin.

A good quality cake pan which is not lined with a non-stick coating
Cake baked evenly. Nice to find a pan which is not non-stick. I lined it with grease proof paper to be on the safe side. Not sure whether this as strictly necessary or not.

It does the business!
Bought this way back in 2022 and been meaning to leave a review but never got round to it till now. I just finished cooking with it (today) in my halogen oven. Yup... I bought it for both- my halogen (in use since 2015) and my standard oven. As you can see from the pics, no rust after nearly 3 years of constant use (circa 3 times a week). It also cleans up well... soak for 5 minutes and any dried food just comes right off (I use circular grease proof paper, so usually a wipe will suffice). It cooks food really well and retains the heat. I use it for chicken wings, ribs, chips, roasting of a whole chicken, potatoes, veg, grilling meat, chicken fish, cook from frozen food etc... too much to list. It's one of my best buys ever!

Incredible!
I bought 2 of the 8x3 inch and they’re the perfect size for everyday bakes. I make gluten free cakes and these tins have been absolutely incredible, a really good even bake and colour all round, and they just slide out of the tin! I will absolutely be buying other sizes and shapes.
