My pigeon loves this food

I purchased this to feed my mourning doves. They seem to like it, but then I went to the feed store and saw the exact same thing for half the price.

Saved my pigeon! In his old age he has had difficulty, but this made him a new bird.

I have 3 pidgeons that have decided to stay permanently at my house. It's been a learning experience for them and me. I suspected that eggs were becoming a thing so I bought the shells. I expected the birds would play with, scatter and eat a few. I didn't expect my large female to go at it like an all-you-can-eat buffet! I put this bowl all the way up in the roosting area since my terrorist squirrels probably wouldn't be interested. I definitely have 1 to 4 hatchlings going on. I will know better when they come out to get their flapping on.

I bought this product several years ago and was happy with it, but the photo no longer matches the product they are selling. It is full of large, razor-sharp shell fragments that are NOT SAFE FOR PIGEONS. I recently did a necropsy on a rescue that didn't make it. The poor bird's crop had multiple lacerations caused by a large oyster shell fragment that had lodged in his crop, with pooled blood in the lower part of the crop. Do NOT feed this terrible product to your birds, especially if they are very young or sick/injured. It's a sure way to end up with a dead bird. Tried to return it for a refund, couldn't. Really underhanded stunt by Morning Bird to sell a product that most people wouldn't buy if they knew what they were getting. I like it.. package is moist inside. Not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be, but my pigeon eats it mixed in with food every other day or so…

This is Morning Bird Pigeon Grit - Healthy & Nutritious Pigeon Food to Support Strong Muscles & Bones for Grit Eating in 1.5 pound plastic bag. Cost is $15 which is high! My pigeons seem to really like it. The only problem is some of the Oyster shells are flat and really sharp. See my picture thickness is good except for some Oyster thin shells.

Mon petit pigeon les adore!!!! J'avais peur qu'il ne vas pas le manger maos dès que j'ai ouvert le paquet il m'a montré son intérêt! Je n'ai plus de difficulté pour les petites pierres qu'il en a besoin pour sa digestion et il y a aussi des minéraux nécessaires dedans pour elle.
