We are very happy with this lamp. We bought it to display behind a silhouette for Halloween (see image) bought from another Amazon seller, and it was just the look we were going for! The lamp gives a realistic moon effect, and is easily charged via USB cable. Excellent.

We bought this for our 10 yr old grandson’s birthday. He loved it! His mom even thought it was pretty cool. After seeing it in person, my husband now wants one. He’ll be getting one soon. I just ordered another one. At first it didn’t look like much when taken out of the box. After plugging it in it became very clear that this was an awesome gift! It has different color options of blue, gray, yellow and white. Each one is almost like looking at the real moon. You can also move it around to show different areas on the moon. It shows the craters and different features you actually see when looking at the moon. It has a very simple yet sturdy wooden base that’s easy to assemble and looks great alongside the sphere that sits on it. We will definitely enjoy this light. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a great conversation piece in their home or for a child, or teen of any age. We’re in our 50’s and find it amazing and worth every penny.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. We had recently installed blackout curtains in our bedroom, and he found it hard to see where he was going when he got up in the middle of the night. The light is exactly as pictured, bigger than a grapefruit, smaller than a melon. It comes with a choice of either bright white light, or a softer yellowish one. We went for the yellow light. It emits exactly the right amount of light; not so bright as to make sleeping difficult, but enough that we can get to the bathroom without stepping on the dog's toys. My only concern here is that it is extremely lightweight, and although it is made of a resin of some sort, not glass, it is very, very thin. I don't think it would take much to break it, though I (happily) haven't had reason to find out. But there have been a few times when I've casually started to move it over so that I can dust underneath it and its stand, and it's nearly gone flying! I would not recommend this light for a child's room, because it's too delicate. For us, it is just right, and now that I realize I have to handle it carefully while cleaning, it isn't a problem. I would buy it again.

Highly recommended!!! If you’ve got kids and want to teach them geography and a little bit of astronomy, this moon model is a great gift. At 3.5 inch diameter, it matches the 13 inch earth globe perfectly and proportionally. Trivia: to give it a earth to moon distance at scale, place this model of the moon about 35 feet from the earth globe, it’ll give you an idea how far the moon is from earth.

The battery does not seem to last too long but otherwise it has been a total hit! I bought this to be an anniversary gift. Now that may seem strange to some people but I do not care as long as my husband is happy. He is not easy to buy gifts for so I try to be very creative and think out of the box. I bought a flashlight for him several years ago and it shines a light that looks like the moon, and he likes it. So when I saw these I had to go for it. There are other moon lights out there but some of them look weird, they have weird colors, which I did not want. The stand for this comes in a couple pieces that were not difficult to put together. I did put some dark stain on it, which did not work great because the wood has a finish. I sanded the wood and it absorbed the stain in an irregular manor. But you really don’t see the stand much so it’s satisfactory. It probably would have worked better to paint it. I would definitely buy it again, and as a gift.

The light is cool but doesn’t last 6 hours on a charge. At the best 3. Which is alright but the charging cord is so short you can’t leave it on your nightstand charging.

My son loves it. Getting the plug in correctly took a while. HINT: It doesn’t go all the way in, so don’t force it. It turns blue when it’s charging. The adjustable lighting levels are great and I like that you can choose a bright white or a soft white. I would recommend this product.

I was apprehensive that this would end up being another junky type product that is a crap shoot when ordering. But with a good return policy, I thought I didn't have much to lose. I ordered the largest one but this isn't exactly "huge" by any means. It is still large enough to make a dramatic presence once it's lit up though. It instantly feels calming and serene, just like when you stare at the real thing. And the replication is quite outstanding. The craters and mares are copied from the actual surface of the moon, so everything is in the right place and in the correct size when scaled down to a 7 inch moon. When it isn't lit up, it looks like a lumpy white plastic ball but that doesn't bother me much. I could illuminate it if I wanted to even during the day just to bring the craters to life, but I want to save the battery life for when I have it on in a dark room. So far, I've found the battery life to be as advertised by the seller. I've left mine on all night at a really dim setting and it's still lit by the time I wake up in the morning. It's a great accent light for a room and I'm pleased with what I got.

Idea regalo davvero particolare, tutt’altro che banale. A parte l’imitare l’aspetto della luna, è assolutamente da apprezzare anche l’utilità di questa piccola luce. Facile da ricaricare e comodissimo il fatto di poter cambiare il colore della luce e la sua intensità. Non possono esserci migliori oggetti da regalare che quelli carini e pure utili, come questo!
