Dude, where have these been my whole life?
I am a very, VERY plus size woman. My entire life has been filled with trying to find comfortable panties, that don't look like my great grandmother bought them, and don't murder my wallet in it's sleep. My dream panties would be all black (no white, no variety packs with prints), with no white panty liner, and that actually fit me. You wouldn't think that's asking too too much, and yet...Despite all my other clothes still fitting, the size 13 panties from Hanes/JustMySize/FruioftheLoom seemed like they were shrinking more and more any time I bought a new pack (the quality also starting to really decline too). Ok, moved to the few 14 types they offer, and they felt smaller than the 13's! (I'm a size US26/28 in tops, and US30 in bottoms.) As buying went on and they just kept getting worse, I was getting very frustrated. The styles in these sizes offered by the bigger name brands are also ugly as he11. I do not want all white panties, those are the worst of the worst, but then the patterns are all flowers or stripes, and the fabric can be terrible. Either non-breathing mesh, or cotton so un-stretchy and rough that they legit hurt to wear. I also refuse to pay $35+ for a single pair of panties, so I wasn't going to move to places like Avenue/Lane Bryan to buy them all. I just can't afford that, nor mentally cope with spending that much a single article of clothing, that no one but myself and my husband will ever see.So, on Black Friday I stumbled upon these. I didn't even know Amazon had these from their brand. I immediately bought a pack of 5x and a second in 6X based on the reviews I saw, I wanted to make sure they fit. The 6x's got here first, and were verrrrry comfortable. However, the 6X were just a tad baggy in the lower butt section, I still love them and use those for sleeping, but just a little baggy in the under butt area. When the 5x's got here, they were bloody perfect. Fit is SO nice and comfortable. The fabric is ultra soft and super stretchy, it doesn't cut in you half along the waist band or rub your skin into irritation, they are ALL black, through and through, and the price is really nice. I went back and bought 2 more 5x's, and I'm considering buying a few more and just replacing all of my current ones. No lie. I'm in love with these. First time ever (in non-lingerie specific panties) I actually feel like they could be sexy, so I felt sexy. That's RARE. I'm super happy, and super comfortable sitting here, typing this up while wearing a pair. :D

These are worth the price.
These do not shrink and they are smooth and comfortable. Very breathable with great quality. And they stretch and move with your body. I like the white color and I might order more in a different color.

I actually like these more than SOMA.
So I had sticker shock the last time I was at Soma. Add to that, they discontinued my favorite style. None of the other styles had the same level of comfort as my old favorites. I've been reading Marie Kondo and honestly, she makes a point that really resonates when trying on clothes - especially ones you are about to buy. If you don't experience "joy" when putting them on, they don't belong in your closet. Soma alternatives did not inspire joy. I was trying to "make do". But when I couldn't "find joy" in the dressing room, I put them all back and came home to shop online. This is the second package I've bought. I started with the sets in all black. When I decided to give them a try, I was surprised to find they were pretty comfortable.Pros:- Comfortable fit. The elastic around the waist and hips doesn't dig in, nor is there an excessive amount of it. Some brands have nearly an inch of elastic band around the waist. I guess that works for some.- I forget they are there. Comfortable panties shouldn't remind you they exist.- They don't ride up. I've never had these ride up at all. That's surprising. I got used to the Soma brand with the silicon in the leg area so that they stayed put. Honestly, I got so addicted to that feature that i didn't intend to leave the brand. These don't have that feature...but they don't need it.- They are cool and breathable, being mostly cotton.- They wash well. The cotton, though not excessively thick, seems to be of really good quality.- They average $2 a pair. And I love them. They actually "spark joy".- Although some may have found stitch quality lacking in a few pairs, I now own 15. None of this problem. I like my odds.- It's Amazon. They will take them back if they are not everything you want them to be - especially if you get one or two with stitching issues.Cons -- Not as many prints or colors as some upscale brands like Soma or Victoria Secret.- You have to buy them in a package, meaning you may end up with some colors you don't want.-You feel weird going backwards from the ridiculous expensive ones to these...But these are not a Walmart special. They actually are good quality.I honest to God think these are worth an honest try. I've actually stopped wearing the old Soma (the ones in the style I loved) in favor of these. I really do just like them better. That's saying something.

A nice fit
Super comfy and didn't shrink at all in the wash. A great value for the dollar. Size seems true, but I could have maybe sized down and been okay.

After only wearing thongs for the past 25 years...
For the past 25 years, I have only worn thong underwear. I never found traditional underwear to be comfortable or look good with showing panty lines. I decided to give in after many, many years and give "regular" underwear a try again. I am pleasantly surprised. These are very comfortable. The rise is perfect. They hot slightly below my belly button. These stay in place, don't ride up, and I don't find myself having to constantly adjust them. I will still only wear them when I am wearing something that won't show the panty lines but since purchasing these I have slept in them every night. I typically sleep in shorts but these are softer and more comfortable. It's only been a week since I bought a ten pack and I am now back to buy more today. I have purchased several clothing items from Amazon Essentials in the past month and I find the quality to be superior to higher priced brands I always wear (Express) and the price is much lower. I 100% recommend and did not even look elsewhere or think twice when I wanted to order more.
